Set against Bavaria’s flat, sweeping farmlands, meadows, and pine forests, the acreage earned its unofficial name from a nearby hamlet called Kaifeck, with ‘hinter’ being German for ‘behind’.

Given that SHE was prosecuted for incest I’m guessing what was written about her at the time did not portray her as a victim. Too bad though. I feel for her and the rest of the family.

This case has always been one of my favorites (horrible thing to say) mainly due to how it has always intrigued and frightened me, on such a weird and deep level. This episode delivered on those longtime feelings, 100%. Sitting in a dark office, alone in my cubicle, with Mike’s insanity playing under Casey’s particularly unnerving delivery, really freaked the fuck outta me, this morning. Hate being alone on weekends. Haha! I love it!! Thank you so much!! Probably my new favorite episode. ❤️❤️
