It was a trip they’d made on their own many times before, and as usual, their mother Nancy sent them off with just enough money to buy bus fare and lunch from the bakery.

They’re so descriptive and, it’s as though you can hear them sometimes, trying to use their words and sound more formal because it’s in writing and not a conversation. Its so beautiful ❤️😭
