Okay, I hate that Larry Layton got out of prison. I hate that people asked for him to be released early even more. A dangerous person clearly incapable of thinking for himself, nah. He shouldβve rotted for what he did. Sorry not sorry.

I've never really bothered with Patreon bonuses before because they're usually not something I'm interested in, but I'm so so so invested in this show and in the obvious time and emotional labor you and the whole staff put into making it what it is. And after listening to every episode multiple times over the last year and a half or so (fwiw, I sub to the podcast through Podbean β if you haven't ever checked it out, you guys have a tiny cadre of followers there, and there are usually a few listener comments on every episode), I'm so excited to find new content like this here as bonus eps. And so excited to hear the host be a little more personal about the work than he usually gets to be. Thank you! I'm so sorry that some of the episodes drive you to the wine cabinet (but also totally understand β I'm currently opening a bottle myself to deal with today's episode, the only episode thus far that has ever made me weep.) Anyway β thank you all so much for all that you do.

Kudos to the Casefile Team for putting together such a flawless final product despite all the drawbacks and stumbling blocks that everyday life throws at you. And major kudos to the narrator and Millie for the Jonestown episodes, they are especially chilling, perfectly delineated and clearly drawn.
