This case was... deeply affecting and horrific. I was truly hoping that there would be some update at the end that gave the victims some kind of closure. So well done. Great work folks!

Brilliant listen that has kept us awake for nights :-)

This was one of my favorite series in a long time! Thanks so much for all the hard work put into it!

I was so glad to hear the voices of the victims and the police involved in this case. Really made the case seem more "real". It may not always be possible to do this in your cases, but as long as it is possible, I'd love it if you continue to do so.

Thanks Manjari, thanks for listening. We will be back soon.

I started listening to this series expecting the usual: well-researched factual content and clear narrative. However, I was unprepared for the disbelief and anger that I felt every time I heard the subsequent episodes. It only got worse when I saw the map after second episode and thought helplessly about how many more there are. I can imagine how difficult it must have been for Anna, Andrew, Mike and the host to research, understand, write, compose appropriate music or narrate it. I've said this before but I can't say it enough that like most other listeners, I appreciate all of your hard work. It is not easy to be objective and at the same time create a respectable work on something so abhorrent. The music for this series, especially, was heartbreaking. Suffice to say, it will be a break well-deserved for all of you. I wish you happy holidays and positive vibes.

As a female who lives on my own ... listening to this series has been terrifying. I'm actually getting a house alarm fitted because of this episode series on the EAR ONS 😬😬😬

Thank you very much Robert. It was, but worth it. Totally agree, the more that know the better.

The thorough research is amazing. I have read several books, seen articles, and heard countless podcasts but a lot of what I heard in Part IV is previously unknown to me. Until these 5 episodes the most shocking series of events I've ever heard was the Moors Murders. I couldn't figure out the pointless violence, the bloodlust, the sickness that led to those murders. Then I listened to this. A pair of lunatics killing for fun is sickening, but ultimately I know they will make a mistake, the police will get them. The EAR ONS case is the work of a criminal genius, who may (but hopefully isn't) be still on the loose. The precision, the calculated violence, the overall torture, psychological and physical, is beyond what I believe possible is human beings. I can't thank you enough for treating the victims with respect, and not exploiting or sensationalizing the killer's behavior. I sincerely believe that the more people that are aware of this series of crimes the more likely it is he will be caught, or at the least identified. As a listener this was traumatic, I can't imagine what it was like to research this. Thank you Casefile for a job very well done.
