You have my sympathy for going through such a painful procedure. Not using the very best means to control the pain and stress seems counterproductive. When I was young (and dinosaurs roamed the Earth) we didn't get anesthetic for fillings, and for tooth extraction there was general anesthetic that made you feel ill for about a day afterwards. I chose my present dentist, not the cheapest, because he manages to avoid causing pain.

2020-08-24 08:34:35 +0000 UTCI did get local anesthesia. That's what they always give. The pill was the only extra thing I got because of this situation. But anesthesia doesn't work, once the nerve is hit! At that point the anesthesia is useless

2020-08-24 06:26:35 +0000 UTCHey, you can say what ever you want about socialism (don't confuse with communism) but I'm glad I can have my local anesthesia. Until then no dentist dare to touch me... BTW terrible doctor if they let you leave in this state.
