Necromunda Hive Secundus - High Tech or Malformed?

As a Necromunda player from way, way back, Peter from the Esoteric Order of Gamers has a lot to say about the new boxed set, Hive Secundus - unfortunately this time, not ALL of it good ...

Necromunda Hive Secundus - High Tech or Malformed?

We think the same way Graeme! I'm similarly annoyed by price stickers that leave residue behind on things I've bought. I think if I paid for something I should get it in proper condition, not damaged by the retailer's damn stickers! 🤣

Thank you for calling out the boxes and the stickers, that's been such a pet peeve of mine for awhile (seems pretty widespread). Whatever that adhesive is that's used must be the cheapest (but strongest) thing possible, it usually rips off the top layer no matter how slowly you try to get it off, ruining the box. And then leaving it on makes it looks cheap. It's meaningless to most people, but I know it's there and everytime I pull the box out, I'm reminded again.

I'd applaud cost-cutting measures if they led to cost-cutting on the final product, but it just feel like these economies are all geared to increasing the profit margin rather than environmental concerns or keeping prices reasonable, and that frustrates.

Have to agree, some of the packaging recently from Gamesworkshop is shockingly bad for a premium product (Darktide boxes are literally falling to pieces on the shelf at my local gaming store). Better box inserts would be much appreciated (any basic kickstarter runs circles around GW). The paper boards.. sigh. Necromunda gang books.. are not good, full of empty space and little info. Currently the only thing premium about these sets are the miniatures and artwork (although I'm sure AI is or will take most of that away from the amazing artists.)
