Time to 'larp' being 'on campaign' or whatever they called 'deployed' back in the day. Dress up for it, start throwing yourselves against situations and obstacles you'd likely face on the battlefield. The battle scenes and situations in the movie Excalibur (1981) are the most relatable to me. The water, night attacks, and obstacles anyway. The ladders, melee, fighting on walls, etc seem legit, but I haven't done those things specifically.
