Coin Exchange Rate Changes - Effective Nov 9th 2019

UPDATE: Due to some feedback from the community on Discord I've decided to update totals so that "old" coins are still valued at $3 per. This will increase your balance to compensate for the price changes. This change is happening Nov 10th, after I take out the patreon stream payments. Nothing will change on your end, you'll just notice a jump in coins.
This seemed like the fairest way to handle folks feeling like their coins have 'lost' value. 

Hey folks!  In an effort to better compensate myself for what I give here on Patreon there will be a small change coming up that I hope y'all will agree is fair. 

Basically, as it is right now, I'm giving a 1:1 ratio of coins to cash. That means I'm not accounting for fees, discounts, and ascribing no value to the other rewards I offer.

If everyone spends their coins I end up losing a fair bit of money just to fees, but there's also the discounts and other rewards that get no additional compensation.  So what I decided to do is reduce the amount coins are worth, from $3 to $2 ! 

What'll change? Well...not much! Just the pricing in the rewards exchange 'shop'. You'll still get the same number of coins a month and past coins you accrued won't change at all.   You can see a full chart of the changes HERE.   

While I was at it, I also made all the prices reflect my current commission types and prices- I really don't remember where I came up with some of the old pricing, it must have been based on my old commission prices or something? I dunno! 

These are effective tomorrow so if you want to you can redeem your coins at the old prices until then! (12am EST, Nov 9th 2019)

TLDR: Pricing is changing to be more fair to myself and what I offer here on Patreon, you don't have to do anything. The only thing that'll change is the prices in the shop.
