Asking for it.
Hi, guys. Welcome to the final post of June. Some of you will meet me tomorrow, some of you won't — I'm grateful to everyone regardless. But there is a… difficult question that stands in front of me. And I'm not sure what to choose. See, you've noticed already how much slower I work now compared to previous years. The reasons are objective and they're out of my reach. What is in my reach, however, is the scale. And it turns out that I just can't hit the right balance, it seems. Even when I plan for smaller output, it just a tad too much for me these days.
So, here's what I've got to say about the next demo. It will go up next Sunday regardless of what I'll be able to finish. But after that I'll have to be hospitalised. Yes, again. I don't know for how long, but this will put the process on pause for at least several days. And my issue is: v0.22 is still not done. Would you want me to either release four demos then finish it to an acceptable degree and release the public version or make it to five demos and release the public version after. I know this is a difficult question to ask since you don't really know what's in the fourth demo (some very important stuff), and I can probably figure out the best course of action but I always value your input and I want to know how you feel. Shattered, after all, is as much of my project as it is yours. So, let me know what you think, have a fantastic day and — hopefully — see you in July!
