Weekly progress report #150

Not sure why Blake is surprised, everyone knows how much he loves wearing lingerie.

Hello. Time for our regular progress report. And the first thing I'm gonna say: it's here. The new demo. Find it here. By the time I post this, I haven't finished uploading the builds (they take two hours each with my atrocious mobile internet, so you'll have to wait a bit), but I did upload the full patch and compressed Windows version, so there you are.

Second: I need to apologise. I haven't been able to fit everything I was supposed to in this demo. Specifically, two poll events (Melinda's story and Bree+Rebecca) and, what's more important, the entire Dominique's visit event. It's just wa-a-ay too big and I was already exhausted by the time I got to the end of the third day. All in all, this demo is 100k words and 400+ renders, which makes it one of the biggest (if not the biggest) demos ever. We have to deal with blackouts here, so a lot of my work was lost, but at least I don't have a job (wo-o-o), so I can spend all of my time either in front of computer or sitting next to it waiting for it to start working again. Yay.

If it seems like I'm not happy, don't worry, it's the opposite! I'm dealing with so much shit these days that I just had to give Blake the happiest batch of content ever. There's so much sex in it, you have no idea. Melinda and Iris got a lot less content, unfortunately, but they both will get a lot in the next demo. As for the other routes, it's about on par or better than usual. I also expanded a lot on Deliverance (VR-club, fashion boutique, Felix's workshop, gym, Bree's apartment, Jasmine/Pepper's apartment and a whole new district), plus, you get to meet some new characters: two trans girls (Aoife the repair girl and Erika the VR-queen) and rent boy Lexx, and if you skipped Robyn from v0.17, you'll get another chance to meet them in this demo. But my main pride for v0.18 so far is the number of choices. I really tried my best to give you as many opportunities as possible. Some of them are connected, though, so make sure to look into the files to see if you've missed something. I am always happy to help (for example, a spoiler for Dominique's event: she skips it if you saw her club scene, but if you make her angry enough, she will grab Blake and drag him… somewhere. Be warned!).

Anyway, that's about it. I'll take some rest next week, but I'll be back to work very soon. With my current life, just being able to work is quite a privilege, so I swear to use every chance I get.
