Say, folks, do you think it's a good idea for me to finally buy myself RTX 3070? They're still insanely expensive here, but I just can't stand the noise from my 2060 anymore. It makes my head grow twice in size, and I can't even sleep it off, it lingers. I feel like I'm about to regret spending so much money, but my health is worth it, right?

No, it was the cheapest 2060 Super I was able to find, and the only reason I bought it is because I couldn't fit anything bigger inside my PC. Also, I can't switch the fan, it's not replaceable. And this noise will eventually drive me insane, I have to listen to music non-stop, and it also gets old very fast.

I paid back in February 2020, just before the prices went CRAZY, though it was still a few hundred overpriced my 2080 Ti after such a long time being released. I'd wait one year if the only problem with your card is noise. Maybe you could stop the fan and get a new one. Is your card still guaranteed for life by the company?
