Hello! Time for another progress report.

Phew. It's a miracle that I survived this weekend. I spent 32 hours total in these two days on work. I rarely have the entire day off in these trying times, so I just had to use this opportunity to make some substantial progress. I think, I succeeded, but we'll see. So far the only think I can say for sure is that I will do my best to release the demo the next week. And just like always, the finish line means I'll be mostly quiet. Don't expect any polls or just posts in general next week. Sorry, I have to spend all my free time on the game.

Now that this is out of the way, let's talk numbers, shall we? The last week I was able to make a ton of pictures, and write a ton of text. Not very specific, sure, but I kinda lost track of all that. However, as of now the entire third demo of v0.12 has about 60k of text, and 195 pictures. There's gonna be more (in terms of text mostly, but I want to add 25–30 more pictures), which makes it my biggest monthly chunk of content ever by a lo-o-ong shot. I'm so excited to show you this thing, you have no idea.

And now a bit about the actual story stuff. Mild spoilers ahead. For Blake in the slums this update is going to be a hell of a ride. However, since he's gonna be claimed by the slums boss, this will protect him from… most threats, let's say. So, your first goal would be to not make Whitecastle (that's the slums leader's name) mad. He doesn't want to be cruel to Blake, but he has to keep him in line. Let me give you a hint: memorise the way to Whitecastle's house. Blake won't do it on his own, and you don't want to get in trouble for getting back late. Remember: Iris is kept god knows where, and her life is pretty literally in Blake's hands (and mouth, and ass, and all of that. But you'll be able to avoid Whitecastle's advances entirely, I promise).

For the non-slums Blake life also revolves around his boss. But with better results. Melinda will finally take some time off, and all of you Melinda lovers will get a gigantic event with her, which will span an entire day (and also night). Everybody else will also get a part of it, but not as big, of course. Boss lady deserved some rest, right? You will also be able to learn some things about her previous life, her writer's career, and her husband, if you want to. She'll be talkative, use that. Vanessa has two scenes in this demo (one for the non-slums true route, and another one will be available for the non-slums sub route or for both subroutes in the slums). Samuel, Liam, and Bree have one. Blake will also be able to see a lot of people have sex. You know. Some variety.

Okay, that's about it. Sorry if whatever I wrote above didn't make any sense, I'm completely wasted. Hopefully, I'll be able to bring you the new demo soon, and it will be as enjoyable as I see it in my head. Thank you very much for reading my ramblings, and have a nice day.
