This modification is designed for short-range combat operations and deployments. Amenities on board are stricktly limited to the most basic, as troops are not supposed to spend days onboard travelling through long hyperspace lanes.
However, thanks to the tradeoff, it was possible to put an advanced jammer on the board, and expand the cargo hangar enough to accommodate light military vehicles, such as speeders ot light tanks.
