First 2025 Update! Jan 1/2 IWBTWR

Hey everyone! I'm back from China after visiting my relatives and had a really good time.

This is the first update this year! Now we're starting off strong with a lot more readers on the IWBTWR website. There's been a lot more comments on there too!

Dyslexitard Arc-

This month was supposed to be the end of Dyslexitard, with one more issue left to end the whole thing. The ending was supposed to be on a cliffhanger and it leans on a sadder note. The "ending" now still hasn't changed, however I think it was right to end it on a positive note. I made a decision to make one more comic so people dont leave the arc completely miserable XD

Here are some of my small thoughts on how it's been going so far

 The arc needed to give Jenny a proper reason to why she feels so miserable and lost all the time. It's supposed to give Jenny more of a personality outside of "retail girl who hates life".

When she wins the swimming award, it's supposed to signify the one of the only high points in her life. Her victory was well earned and she worked hard for it. However because she did it out of spite to prove everyone else wrong from her dyslexia, her motivation to earn this achievement was flawed.

 Jenny now becomes complacent and lazy, she won already, why even try anymore? She falls back into her old habits she learned while coping with the existence of her disorder.

This was also a good tie in to the first comic where she develops these habits. Without the basis of the first comic, it would be really hard to believe why Jenny would throw all of this away just to game in a toilet stall.

This mentality in the future I would need to address more in the future, when she handles tasks in the store. Instances where she just gives up immediately and slacks off. There was a comic really early on in the comic where Zoey and Jenny was revealed to just game in a hidden part of the parking lot when they were supposed to sweep the floor. I think a tie in to that early comic will be great later on in the series.

 Finally she crashes down to earth when her consequences come back to bite her. She's now out of the swimming team and has nothing to prove anymore. IS this what she really wanted in the first place? Or is it out of habit that she subconsciously decided to not try anymore? I think it's up for the reader's personal experience to dictate that.

This critical character flaw that Jenny has was born out of circumstance. She suffers the consequence of her actions before she deserves it? This question will dictate her future direction in the comic and how she handles these experiences. Maybe she becomes an alcoholic, maybe she does crack cocaine, maybe she starts eating a lot, maybe she starts to accept what she is and becomes worse? Wow Peargor you really are evil

The next comic has a twist ending and fucks up the perspective on everything she's experienced so far. I hope it gets received well.

She'll have a happy ending :)

Next YT animation

I'm currently planning a sort YT animation with Derpina. I think it'll be really awesome and break some of the dead air on the channel.

Will keep you guys posted on it! I will be posting animated previews on it in the future like how I did with the Koishi Project
