The bad news is that I got a food poisoning recently and can barely stand up from my bed, which, of course, slows down my work pretty significantly. At this point I don’t expect to finish v0.9 this week, but I’ll make sure it’s done before August. You have my word for it.

Unfortunately HL 3 was cancelled. Former franchise writer Marc Laidlaw also confirmed to PC Gamer that Episode 3 wouldn't have had a definite conclusion, much like Half Life and Half Life 2. The plot summary that he later released appeared to confirm this.
