Guess who?

That's right, folks, in the story poll you've chosen the option to bring Blake's mother back. So there she is. Kira Blinn, née Kranz. This, however, is not the official result, it's just one of the alternatives. Because now you'll have to choose what she's been doing all those years and where did it bring her. I'll put a new story poll up on Monday, but I can tell you what significance your choice will have.

You're gonna have five options with different degrees of Kira's misery and villainy. For example, in the first possibility Kira is a sad, pathetic drug addict, who lives in a shitty decrepit apartment. No job, no money, and nobody to care for her. But this also means that she managed to get at least some redemption through her suffering and Blake pretty much has no choice but to take her aboard. He's a good person, after all. 

The third option (this Kira is the one you can see in the picture. Or maybe it's the second one, we'll see) is her being stuck on a dead-end job. Maybe she has some money, maybe some sort of a mediocre boyfriend, but no happiness, and no perspectives. This Kira might swing to the bad or good side depending on different factors. 

And the fifth Kira was able to marry a rich guy, then get rid of him. She's a thrifty, vile, and cruel woman. She meets Blake and immediately comes up with a plan to use him, and his association with Melinda for her own goals. Can Blake survive the fight between his two mothers? Well, yes, of course he can, but it won't be pretty.

Where's the father in all this? I'll leave this question for later. Stay tuned for the progress report tomorrow, the story poll on Monday, and the event poll on Tuesday.

I've decided to abandon the Melinda/Vanessa idea. I don't see what interesting stuff it could bring to the story, and honestly they just belong to completely different worlds. Melinda is all about feminine aesthetic, personal attachment, and harmony. Vanessa likes any girl with a crafty tongue and willingness to use it at any given moment. It's pretty much impossible to imagine Melinda giving someone head in the dark and dirty alley. And I didn't even mention how busy they both are. Blake's mom appearing out of nowhere will mess with Melinda's plans, that's for sure. And Blake fully realises that. He will tell her about the whole situation, but maybe a little later, after she collects herself, and won't ask for anything. Regardless of how Kira turned out to be, Blake already feels way more loyalty to Melinda than her. What she did was pretty much irredeemable anyway. Leaving your 14 years old child in the slums alone? That's almost a murder.

That could be interesting. Melinda was getting involved with Vanessa previously if I recall correctly, I wonder how she would take that? Would she be willing to share? She's previously attacked men for having harems, it would be pretty hypocritical for her to be OK with it when it's a woman doing it but it wouldn't be at all out of character. What I was thinking about is if she's in a bad way and Blake obviously has to help her, but what to *do* with her, having Melinda take her in right now when they're still recovering from the fire is a pretty big favour to ask. I don't think she needs another maid, although her and Blake both serving as maids together would be pretty good.

Wild Bill

I'm personally in favour of the middle version, where she's stuck on a relatively well paid, but soul crushing job, has some loveless relationship, and just accepted her fate in general. That way she might want Blake back so he could bring some happiness into her life, but she doesn't have any means to manipulate him into submission. I'm also genuinely contemplating the possibility of introducing her to Melinda and maybe making them fall in love with each other. That way Blake won't have to scramble between his two mothers.

Yeda Games

She's a proper Milf! I think the more destitute ones sound more interesting, there's a real question of what her place is going to be, while Rich Bitch Kira is an obvious antagonist.
