Don't forget to take your dog for a walk.
Hello guys. It's time for another weekly progress report. Not gonna lie, this was a rough week. And I mean rough. I know you're not interested in excuses and I'm not going to make them. But I'm currently sporting a 40°C temperature, and the constant technical problems only make my blood boil even more.
Let's get to numbers. Last Sunday I planned to write at least a thousand lines of dialogues and render at least four images per day. Now, six days later, I have ~6k lines and 20 pictures (12 of them contain something sex-related) not counting backgrounds and character sprites. So I'm not really that far behind the schedule, but I could've done much more. Now, all the content that I've finished so far makes up two first days of 0.3 out of 6–7 total (the event structure isn't finalised yet, so I might shuffle them a bit, but in general I'm not going to cut anything). Each day consists of 1–2 big scenes and 1–2 smaller ones. If flu won't kill me, I'll be able to speed up the production a little bit next week.
Now to the more interesting things. As you probably already realised, our new character poll is finished and the winner is — ta-da — a shemale option. Although after I counted the Wicked Maid tier votes the gap between this and female option wasn't as big as one might think. I'll start designing out new character today, and for those of you disappointed with the results: don't worry. A lot of other stuff is coming up.
What else to say… Maybe I should drop you a couple of spoilers? Alright. People who are following the straight route will get some new options this time. Expect the return of someone from the past, and a continuation of something hinted in 0.2. If you're on a gay route, the most important decision you've made in 0.2. Now it's time to finalise it and make a choice between Samuel and Liam. Or, alternatively, you can ditch them both. That way you'll get a special route on which you'll be able to feminise someone else. All that, of course, is a small part of the story so far, and not the most important. Blake is now not as safe as he thought, and the new threat is coming from outside the house. You'll probably notice that 0.3 has fewer choice options than before. But that's only because your previous decisions now have a lot more weight and will lead you to some paths automatically. Don't worry though, because your selections are significantly more important as well. I won't take the «I will go on a date with this character \I will not go on a date with this character» junction away from you. But the results may vary.
So that concludes my weekly report. It's a little too heavy on the «stuff that will be» rather than «stuff that already is», and I'm sorry. I'll do my best to get my shit together. So… that's it. Have a nice Sunday!
