It’s Restaurateur 😩: What’s New @ the Table

As dangerous as she's ever been, or alternately: The Power of Yaoi. The new episode PALISADE 58: Above the Earth Pt. 2 is out in the main feed, and proves once again that the only thing more menacing than Austin & his clocks is Keith when emboldened with a small gang.

We’re not in Latania, BUDDY. There’s an all-new Clapcast out for patrons. It is as-ever some of the funniest stuff we do, and in particular a good palate-cleanser when the season’s in a more serious place.

They’re like old seatbelts, but the size of a hamburger. On Sunday we streamed Twilight Mirage Episode 41: No Value in a Closed Door, which picks up the efforts of Even, Echo and Signet to deal with the conflict around an important local resource. (FYI this block of episodes are good ones to listen to if you’re curious about the lore behind the Concretists in PARTIZAN/PALISADE… Or behind axiom traps.)

“What’s the benefit of that?” “Bloodbath.” Jack and Keith returned to Crusader Kings III last week on Twitch. It’s a good thing that monarchy itself is already pretty unethical because those two are really playing for keeps. Wow. Wowee…

The dim light of the Void Star. Meanwhile, Austin streamed some more Etrian Odyssey III, this time with Sylvi and Jack. Love a game with a pleasant little map and a bunch of stickers to put on it, that’s O.G. cozy gameplay right there.

“Too bad, suckers!” On Thursday Sylvi and Keith did a near-marathon length stream hoping to get through the very last bits of their 999 playthrough. They didn’t quite make it but they are perilously close, so look forward to that soon!

“Several flesh-like balls…” I dipped back into Life Makeover on Friday to get some closure about Mirror Roy and Beach Larry, and to learn more about the tense relationship between the androids and the humans. And then some things happened in the game’s actual story, too. (In more Life Makeover news you can now watch the VOD for part 10 on YouTube!)

Non-standard villagers. The archive of my June Go-Go Town stream went up on YouTube. If the idea of an early access Animal Crossing-ish city automation game piques your interest and you haven’t watched already, you may want to take a peek.

Bonus! A new song from JDQ! With the new episode comes a new entry in PALISADE’s soundtrack, “Look Up At The Sky.” It’s a dreamy, somewhat melancholic track with the same driving motifs that underpin this season’s theme. Writing about music is hard, but what I’m trying to say is that it’s a good song and you should listen to it.
