Plans for 2025

An end of an era.

TL/DR: I'm changing stuff and want your opinion on some things.

I will be taking a break for January 2025 and pausing the billing for that month. Mostly to get ahead in some of my projects, and, the more important part:

Redesigning the Teir system.

the current system is great for comics, but I feel that it's really falling flat when it comes to working with animations and that the Tip Jar comics, while fun, have gotten really out of hand. so.

the plan so far:

Tip Jar 

I'm thinking of lowering the teir price of The Tip Jar down to around $3. Tip Jar was always meant to be a proving ground for new techniques and a place to put random works that I made. Not the monthly comics that it has grown into. don't get me wrong, I have really enjoyed making the comics, but I've found it's gotten harder and harder to find new (Workable) characters to tell new stories without going "it's exactly the same as last time, but they have different hair."

Animation

The Storyboards and Final Renders teirs worked really well with comics, but with the longer work times with animation, I'm finding that the current system isn't working.

my plan moving forward is to merge the 2 teirs into one and to focus on getting the animation finished.

What this would most likely look like, is a video blocking out the scene, much like storyboards from RWBY:MMM followed by a video refining the scene, giving the more detailed motions, followed by lighting, and lastly by sound. the dialogue will be either AI Generated or edited, so I can get the timing of the words down before hiring a voice actor to do the proper dialogue for the final release.
