It's definitely open to the interpretation that F really does know him, but he doesn't reveal himself, so it stays mysterious and ambiguous. We play into the obsessed stranger angle a little, though I don't think he's too scary. A note that I did pitch my voice down for Phone M, since he's supposed to be using an artificial voice changer anyway.
