I watched "We need to talk about Kevin". can't say I was impressed, but it is definitely worth time spending. maybe I should read the book to get deeper understanding of the characters

Finally! More Smoke and fire, less ruin like stuff! The father looks like a scary bad ass and I can not wait to fight him!

I was wondering if the game would still have these kind of dark depressing yet beautiful moments (like underwater in madness returns?) Because from what i've seen it seems to be more horror-focused,but i liked the beautiful landscapes of the previous games a lot.

Very cool concept, I like these. I love the idea of Alice facing twisted, suffering versions of her family. That's some deep psychological torment there. I don't know if it's meant to be part of the concept idea but I like it that he says "Save us!" They should all scream some lines like that during a battle. SUGGESTION: I would remove the asylum belts from "father's" face. They look more like something from BDSM than an asylum equipment (kinky dad?). Perhaps to replace them with something more metallic? Maybe add to that the idea that her father tries to help her to beat the monsters by screaming to her hints on how to beat the monster or where it's weak points to attack and after Alice wins her father bursts into flames with the monster (the metallic body) adding to the fresh horror of him dying in the fire. Something like "he helped her to survive the monster and in the process dies with it", like with the fire.

SUGGESTION: I think the syringes are brilliant, but not as feet to the legs. When Alice is close enough, I'm not at all against the idea of the syringes coming out of the legs like tentacles. When she's at a distance, they just look like hydrolic wiring within the legs. Also, I LOVE Chaussette's suggestion of cognitive dissonance, having the father not want to harm his child but the machine doing it anyway. It could even be painful for him to draw blood and HP from Alice with the syringes.

SUGGESTION: Would it make sense if the father and the machine he's strapped to had separate thoughts and intentions? Like, the father doesn't mean to attack Alice but the machine does and he wants it to stop but he's also in pain and dying.

QUESTION: Not sure if this was already addressed but once Asylum is done do you guys ever think you will do a remastered version of the first Alice Game? SUGGESTION: This kinda goes back to what BNuts suggested, I think the ideas of the needles taking some HP or MP is an awesome idea along with the hallucinating idea, my add on suggestion would be that she hallucinated multiples of the father monster. One of those, having to hack through the hallucinations to find the real enemy. P.S.- I am seriously in love with this enemy, I'm really liking how the designs keep getting more and more creepy. I can't wait to see what Omri does with the other members of her family. I like this idea more than the insect idea that was shown in the previous stream.

I don´'t like these belts (asylum thing) on enemy´'s head. It went far away from the reference image. I don't see it as a necessary. Alice monster jumpscare idea is cool but the art itself has problems with proportions and...ehm...color? I mean she looks very dead...She reminds me some japanese horror movie (or maybe The Ring?) and not in a good way.

SUGGESTION: I REALLY, REALLY dislike needles, therefore I can't imagine how fearful Alice would be of them -- and as a connection to the asylum it could be a neat gimmick for injections from syringes (not necessarily from the father monsters) to have different effects on Alice. If a monster draws blood from Alice, maybe it could take some of her HP and restore some of its own, or take some of her MP. Maybe it could cause her to hallucinate. Specific to the father monster, maybe it could try to hug Alice with its fire arms -- which would cause her Insanity to rise exponentially. Maybe if Alice is defeated this way she turns into Little Alice and the player loses control. Five Minutes Later control is returned and she's walked somewhere random, and the player has to find the monster and start the fight all over again. Restart penalty, but from a random accessible location, and Alice is... 'shook' from the experience? Losing a battle due to Insanity from one of the family members could cause Alice to become Little Alice is the main idea.

I think this father monster could use regular legs just fine and get away without having the syringes. I think im just a robot junky and those regular legs appeal to me more than the stabby bits.

The monster would be ok if without the farther personality. Let it be someone else. Having the whole family portrait turned live sounds like too much. That would wash out the scary uniqueness of "Alice from the past" monster.

I'll make a note of reading The Wasp Factory! Just finished re-reading "We need to talk about Kevin", so I am looking for a new book to dive into. Moving on to OH MY GOD, ALICES' DAD LOOKS TERRIFYING! I can litterally see her crying and crumbling, and just completely fall to pieces. This is cruel. But, that's guilt and our own mind sometimes.
