Is this Rabb-it or Not-it?

Dear Insane Children, Omri has been back and forth with me, Joey, Martin, and Matt (AKA the Rabbit Design Council) and working towards the final design for the White Rabbit Collectable plush toy. We believe the image above is The Rabbit we're looking for. But what say you? Give us your feedback in the comments below. Then we'll send this little guy hopping off to the factory for production of a concept design. From Shanghai with Fluff, The RDC

Is this Rabb-it or Not-it?

Comments

I always imagined her rabbit being a bit more floppy in the appendages, but this looks lovely anyway. I look forward to seeing the final product! 🖤🧡

I love it! I think it's perfect. Appropriately "sweet but sad"-looking, IMO. Can't wait for this to be real!

the 10 years younger rabbit has my vote, definitely a darker "feel"

I like it a lot, but what about putting a removable hat? like he has later on. The hat would be grate for people who do cosplay to be able to use him for difrent outfits. I would also be nice if he had biger stiching like others have said.

Agreeing with comments above. I prefer the rabbit on the left (by 10yrs younger). Also generally prefer more obvious stitching for more macabre look, thinner longer ears, slimmer body that is more rabbit like than bear like, and more defined longer feet with good toe definition with claws done with cool macabre stitching (I have a pet rabbit so can’t help but be nit picky on the body lol). Also like the idea someone said about a vest (which it would be cool if you could take on and off the rabbit, and if it had a little pocket watch). Sorry to say so many things!! As an artist myself I know it’s helpful to have as many suggestions from people as possible though when they’re intended helpfully and kindly :) But yeah, just keep a good macabre look and it’ll be awesome! Can’t wait to see the final piece! It’s looking wonderful!

The vest would be a nice nod to the character, but it still looks good regardless

I like the design but miss the vest. It was very nice looking.

As I tooa closer look... the old one looks better. I don't mean the stitches - they'd look cool though - but the scales on the final design look more like a bear than a bunny. Too big, massive body, thick limbs... Also the mouth look weird like it is a tumor in his mouth. The ears could also be a bit longer. Sorry for all the nitpicks, but I consider myself a rabbit expert :)

Agreeing with all comments! Perhaps more visible stitches tho, to get a macabre feel?

I love it, I want one xx

looks good

Longer, slightly thinner ears to match the original game one would be my suggestion. Going on that maybe slightly more defined feet. In the game design it's an extra piece for its foot with the concept you have here the feet are blocky and not as defined.

Looks great, very similar to the original one from the first game's trailer. I would just want longer ears.

I agree that the image on the left looks truer to the Alice appeal.

Richanne Matthews

looks great

The picture on the left seems closer to the idea of Alice. Maybe combining them so that the fluffy rabbit has stitches, long ears, and a slightly mischievous smile?

I think also it shout be more like the left picture. With thick stiches on the body and black joint for the right eye.

I think the ears need to be a little longer. And Omri’s Picture makes it look like the rabbit would have stiff joints and I think the arms and legs need to hang more. Since they would by be stitched on in Victorian times.

I think the vest would make it better with longer ears ❤❤🐰🐰🐇🐇

He looks adorable! I do agree with others that I miss the vest though

Slush

I do miss the vest! But he looks great! Maybe he should have a little more distress to him.

Maybe add a subtle scar/stiching?

I liked the vest from the previous image

Markus

Seems beautiful... maybe with longer ears it would look even better. Can't wait to see it become a reality #___#

I would have to add a vote for it being skinnier (less stuffing) and for longer ears, something slightly closer to the rabbit used in the AMA opening cinematic, they are almost long enough to hang down level with the end of it's body/bottom.

Kyle Ross

Personally I think this is perfect. 10/10 would snuggle all night

Rhia

I like the picture of the rabbit in the top left corner. So however close we can get to that the better.

I love it!

Love it!!! Love the idea of having the logo on the foot!! Good idea Hayley!!

I love the design! The mouth looks a little dog like. I think having the Alice Asylum logo on the foot would be a nice touch - printed or embroidered (if it's possible)

I like it and don’t at the same time. I loved the other one with the small vest design on it....added a bit more to its character..? I think that’s what I’m going for. The nose could poke out just a wee bit more. I don’t mind the darker look to it, just liked it with the vest a tad more.

The love/dirt is expected to come from you.

Make Nine Inch Nails great again

I wonder how you're going to make him look dirty/well loved. I think the design is nearly there otherwise.

Sarah Heist

I do like it, it's very cute. However, I do seem to agree with the majority here, it could lose some stuffing. I myself, would make the body smaller, in width, than the head, extend the ears to almost the length of the body, just a little shorter. And extended the legs and maybe the arms a little but I think they are pretty good if we just loose some stuffing on them. Also I would change the way the arms are attached if someone where to care it by the paw, like most children do, I think it would keep it's shape instead of hanging limp like a rage doll. I hope this helps, I tried to be specific with my thoughts. :/

Also I think the rabbit in Omri Koresh's WIP of non-cancer Alice is really cute. As your cosplaying fans are already making plans on how to rip that plush apart to make it look like the one from Madness Returns, I like to think Omri Koresh tried to suggest a model different enough to discourage them from harming innocent toys. And I appreciate that.

Make Nine Inch Nails great again

Hmm, I think he has a bit too much batting as well. (The fluff) And perhaps the ears should be a bit longer to relieve the doggo appearance?

I think he is cute, but I also agree it could probably do with less fluff to give it the floppy worn down appeal.

Longer limbs and ears. I feel like I remember a little vest?

I like it, but the mouth could do with a bit of altering. As a few others have said, it kinda looks like a dog.

DecayingInRed

I was thinking the same thing, a bit too overstuffed.

ImprudentBean35

It looks well stuffed and sturdy. I think it should be slimmed down a bit and look more floppy, in order for it to feel more old, worn and mangy.

I adore it but it seems rather plain.... only thing is I dont know what to add to it!

I like it, but it looks like a floppy-eared dog. You should make the muzzle project out further to give it a more distinct rabbit look. Don’t know why the tail has a question mark, but I like it.

I think it looks perfect. He's so chubby and cute ❤

The rounder version of the head looks great except the ears too short. The arms seem to be detached from the rest of the body. Which makes him look like a muscle man.

Make Nine Inch Nails great again

I feel like the legs are too puffy.. and maybe the ears could be a bit longer.

Personally the mouth looks too dogish. If was more defined and not so long would look better. Over all I love it though.

A bit too fat.

sumblinker

Still looks like a dogs face to me, the rest of it is adorable in a messed up kind of way

I love the design but I really like the stitches on the stomach and love the soft skin. Also no matter how it comes out I know it will be amazing and I want it.

I like the general shape and the aged look, but I also feel that it needs to be a bit creepier. Personally, I love the stitches on the stomach in the image in the upper left. It gives the rabbit an extra touch of personality.

It's cute, but I miss the little red vest it used to have <3

I feel like, in order for it to look like a loveable, super loved, floppy bunny, the arms and legs need to be a bit longer and not as stuffed. However, if the look you were going for was "collectible that will sit on your bookshelf like a teddy bear", then leave it as is.

I LOVE it!..sorry caps but that looks great to me..I like how it looks kind of old and I think soft skin is best but that's just me... Now how do we go about getting one?..that's what I want to know. ^_^

Sobela

personally i would prefer a bit more dimension on the nose (that part to stick out a bit more on the head pattern on the side view), but that's just me ^_^

Catheryn Alice North

I like where he has landed design-wise, looks good to me :).

I totally agree. One can never go wrong with a bit more demented, dented & destroyed!!!!

What bout like more of a worn out looking striped pattern material for the inside of his ears an the inside parts of his feet an hands? Stripes are very wonderlandy.

Maybe the rabbit should have an eye hanging out of his eye socket, would be a bit more creepy

I'd like the soft skin but with it showing signs of wear and tear. Has he lost his jacket completely ?? Either way no matter how he turns out......I want him!!

I think it's super cute! I also like that it's relatively clean as a cosplayer, so I could use it as is or, if I could bring myself to, bloody and dirty it up more to suit

Kind of wish it was a little more creepy, but looks like I may be alone lol.

Tequila JoJo

Looks good! Consider some of the age textures. Roadkill Toys in the UK did a really good job with the dirty old texture.

I love this! Looks amazing!

Looks great!

Love love love it!

PERFECT

Gimme

Looks really cute!

I think he looks perfect

Looks amazing I would buy one in a heartbeat :)
