Pirates and Patches

Hi there, it's Martin here, not American.
As many of you know, American is currently off doing PIRATE JAM which kicked off yesterday, so be sure to subscribe and/or keep an eye out on our YOUTUBE channel for when the vlogs start to get posted up :)
However, I wanted to pop along and tell all you lovely people who pushed us past 1000 Patrons what happens now in regards to the embroidered patches.
The patch designs you will have seen are now currently at the factory and we are awaiting a prototype so we can make sure everything is up to scratch in terms of quality.
We're also looking into different materials for some of the patches and seeing if any make sense (furry, rubberised, etc..)
Not only that but we also have our guy, Alex working on the actual design of the packaging card inlay too.
Here's a first draft/mock-up. What do you think?

Then once we're happy with what we see in terms of patch quality and packet design, we can finally give the thumbs up to the factory to mass produce them and, in short order after that, they'll be ready to be shipped out. Yay!
We'll probably be finalising the shipping list in 2 to 3 weeks, so please make sure your addresses are up to date and your accounts were successfully charged this month :)

So what's the next goal?
Well, we haven't crunched the numbers yet to find out what the next number target should be, but I can tell you that we're very keen on doing a set of enamel pins (this seems to be a very popular request across our channels).
So, be sure to keep an eye out for details on that soon.

And finally, before I go, I thought you all might like to see these initial sketches from Joey. These could either be stand-alone models, or indeed part of the collectors versions of the retail game box. Would any of these take your fancy? Or perhaps you'd prefer a different character?
Alex will also be turning his hand towards these in the not too distant future too, for fully realising them in their boxes complete with packaging designs.

2018-04-18 05:04:43 +0000 UTCPersonally I like the Alice and Cheshire bust, but I have to say I'd really most want one of Carpenter, personally. Maybe have a set for each 'world'? I'd also totally buy a figure of his statue in Barrelbottom. Other characters that would be really cool to see would be the younger/before versions and concepts we've seen so far, if the game takes that route! As in Cheshire with fur, young Alice, etc. I also agree with Shannon where it would be nice to see both small and larger, collectible versions. Perhaps tarot style cards as well? Or, more fitting, playing cards? You could do a normal playing deck with the characters and artwork, or a larger one mostly meant for collecting, or both. Anyway, it's all looking fantastic so far! So excited to see more as everything progresses.

I'm not sure how possible that is and I know he's sort of one half of a set with Walrus so it might involve more work? Either way, I'd be more than happy to take both of them! I feel like we don't see much of them and I thought they were really amazing characters.

2018-04-04 06:37:43 +0000 UTCI think the busts would be neat as maybe little 2 inch figures that come with the game. Maybe as white chess pieces with a black wash. The patches are very colorful and as Shelby said the enemies would make cool pins. Maybe a card guard skull or Cheshire Cat or even the vorpal blade. I’m excited to see where the project goes. Also what about post card art prints in a stack of maybe 8 random print cards?
2018-04-03 02:50:52 +0000 UTCUnless what's underneath Hatter's hat is a secret you wouldn't share even with patrons, Hatter and his Hat should come as two figures: Hatter's figure would regain his usual proportions (looks a little squashed on the sketch) and Alice could put the Hat on. Or, we could put the Cat in the Hat :D Also, I received confirmation that I successfully pledged $35 dollars three months in a row. Will I receive a code to order my free print on Mysterious?

Enamel pins are very popular right now so I feel like if you offer that as a patreon reward youll be able to get a lot of new people to join the Alice fandom. I know this is a long shot but ive been dying for some sort of merchandise that shows the rage version of alice from the first game :3 But as far as the busts go I think a cheshire bust would be awesome. Also hoping that some more Alice apparel comes out like you guys had after Madness Returns came out, im beyond bummed I missed out on getting an Alice shirt or hoodie.

I don't know if that would be workable if it relates to Asylum rather than the past games. If it is possible it would be awesome :).
