He constantly faces pressure from his family to not hide the fact, but retreats from them being more ashamed and embarrased than embracing who and what he is. Daniel is the next in line of the prominant Morse family, one of the few surviving familys that lead the way and fought for weres to have equal rights, but sometimes the pressure to live up to his fathers expectations, pushes him away.
