I know Not Like Us has gotten all the air time. But I prefer Euphoria hands down. Wyt?

Love them all for different reasons. Fun fact: the lesser known “6:16 in LA” diss sampled Al Green. Drake’s uncle Teenie Hodges wrote and recorded guitar for all of Al green’s music. That’s a subliminal diss right there.

Personally I prefer "meet the grahams" the most of all his diss tracks...very conceptual song with a dark and moody beat, and the lyrics are absolutely vicious. The song reminds me of "The Story of Adidon" that Pusha T used to wipe out Drake years ago.

I really dislike Kendrick's "Humble" voice (flow) on Not Like Us. I get that Kendrick is known for doing characters but to me it has to be clear why he's using a voice and I don't think a diss track is any reason to use that voice. I think there are some biting lines in the song but I just can't get over the goofy voice.

Agreed, and holy shit that’s a great idea I didn’t even think to add it to the workout playlist. The moment where the beat drops will def carry me through my pull ups today haha

For sure. They both serve in different ways. I know I'm in the minority. And it's just a preference. I like the way Euphoria slowly builds to the end and gets better and better. And I love the flow, I love everything about it. It's my perfect running track to start out the workout

Writing and storytelling is probably better in Euphoria. I also love his vocal performance on the track. Classic Kendrick. But Not Like Us is closer to my heart as a west coast native. I really appreciate that the song is a very calculated diss AND an homage to CA hip hop culture, which Drake insulted by appropriating Tupac’s voice with AI. So it’s satisfying to feel like the WC is united in dancing on Drake’s grave lol. And it’s way more fun to dance to.

I enjoy the trilogy of diss tracks as a package not particularly preferring one i’ve the other. I honestly think the rap beef was the best thing for the corrupt music industry. other than the beef by law we’re just stuck to hearing about taylor swift and her fake romance or garbage we call music . not to sure why it hard for the industry to find and help talent like the days of old.

For sure. Not Like US is impirtant because he beats Drake at his own game making a club bop. But Euphoria is exactly how I wanted him to diss Drake. It’s just surgical
