Buffalo Chicken
Added 2023-03-16 04:31:53 +0000 UTCI feel that the concept of the buffalo chicken sandwich does not work. The buffalo sauce and flavor encompassing the entire chicken breast, rather than just the wing, is already overwhelming, and then it overpowers any and all other condiments. There's gotta be something to cool down the brightness of them flavors, in a bite-size way, and nothing seems to work for me. Now you want to go from fried chicken, to a classic spicy chicken sandwich, then I'm first in line. But buffalo wings to buffalo chicken sandwich...something is lost in translation. Am I the only one suffering with the burden of this opinion?

2023-03-16 20:25:21 +0000 UTCHm interesting. I could see it. Yes naturally ranch cools it down when it's just wings but, I dont think it would work as well on the sandwich, which means you gotta alter some things.

2023-03-16 19:54:50 +0000 UTCHaha I've been to BWW many times, though not during a sports night. Too crowded. Gotta order out on those days

2023-03-16 19:54:30 +0000 UTCSame sandwich-wise. But I am definitely a wing girl. Gotta get the right kind of buffalo sauce imo

2023-03-16 19:53:16 +0000 UTCI will say that I am probably more into these than you are; but regardless I feel like buffalo chicken is where you start approaching is-this-even-considered-a-sandwich territory. Usually there’s only, like, three ingredients, and most buffalo chicken sandwiches don’t even have any condiments, since the sauce is so overpowering. It’s basically just chicken wings-bones+brioche bun

2023-03-16 14:46:31 +0000 UTCI’m not the biggest fan of buffalo sauce to begin with. The ones I’ve had have been too sour and vinegary. I’d much rather get a spicy chicken or BBQ brisket sandwich.

2023-03-16 05:51:09 +0000 UTCPersonally, I can't stand spicy food of any kind. I don't like any foods that make me have to get a drink of water to get rid of the painful burning feeling in my mouth. Being a sports fan as long as I have means seeing Buffalo Wild Wings ads constantly which I guess is great for hanging out with friends to watch a game on their big screen tvs (I'd love to be at one the next time a Detroit team wins a big playoff game or a championship for the incredible atmosphere) but the food there isn't anything to write home about. I went to a BWW a grand total of once ever and haven't been back since.

2023-03-16 05:01:35 +0000 UTCThis is why you might be the best YouTuber ever ! Lol. Myself, I don't eat buffalo too often. Yea, I could see that the concept is bigger then the sandwich itself. So I get it. The sandwich insists upon itself.

2023-03-16 04:55:04 +0000 UTCA cucumber and mint yoghurt ratia, could make it work for me My problem with buffalo wings is the obovious incongruity, it conjures in my mind. I know its geographical. But it don't matter, buffalo's should not have wings.
