Frankly, if you look at his filmography, it’s the sort of movie that Rian Johnson should be focusing his talents on rather than Star Wars, so the sequel should be a fun watch. But this is Spielberg’s origin story, his Amarcord, so it’s destined to be a milestone in his career (as opposed to, say, Lost World). His heart and soul is going to be in this one, and I’m not going to miss that. Hopefully, it will be one of the best films he’s ever made.

2022-11-08 01:13:14 +0000 UTCI always love those films about cinema influencing one's life like Tim Burton's Ed Wood, The Disaster Artist, and Cinema Paradiso so The Fabelmans looks promising to me. As for Glass Onion, good luck matching the brilliance of the first film because its gonna need it.

2022-11-08 01:04:33 +0000 UTCAfter delving into a lot of Spielbergs work earlier this year, I’m definitely anticipating The Fabelmans more even though it feels like every director is doing a movie about their childhood at this point. With that said Knives Out is a lot of fun and hope the sequel can capture the same energy.
