The first time I saw this at age seven.....this transition, used to keep me up at night. #iconic

I was joking about it keeping me up at night.

You’ll never think of frozen yogurt the same way again.

Like a dirty editors pleasure boat.

Sounds like we could easily do favorite scene transitions as a topic video.

Here’s a transition that I remember: https://youtu.be/PA6HYvaXdHU Didn’t exactly keep me up at night, but it stayed with me nonetheless. 😁

I dunno…I watch this and think it’s more funny/clever than unsettling. But hey, things have a way of getting under our skin much more potently at a young age than they would otherwise. I was around seven years old when I watched Ren and Stimpy back in the day when it was on Nick at Nite. There was an episode where Ren was crying in Stimpy’s arms in their house and was embarrassed to be doing so. Just when Stimpy assures him that no one will see, the camera pans away to an open window, where a whole bunch of people are staring at Ren with the most grotesque, hideous smiles on their faces. As the camera stays on them, that awful, “shocking” music cue goes off (bum bum BUUUMMMMM!!!!!!). The combined effect scared the shit out of me and seared into my brain. That was a very weird, even disturbing show, especially for kids. Still have fond memories of it though. Bit of a non sequitur, but it made me think of it.

On point and superb transition. (I love that transition in the Secret Life of Walter MItty remake, where he sits on the bench and it becomes film reel.) Pure Sick.

Better than anything in the Jurassic World films, that's for sure. I'm already sick of the ads for the new one.

Planning on watching the first three movies this weekend actually. I don't think I've watch Lost World or the third one as an adult so that'll be interesting.

As many problems as there are with that movie, I still think it’s decent. The new Disney Jurassic Park movies are just sad. It’s like putting lipstick on a corpse, where the Lost World still feels like someone’s vision. Maybe apart from the San Diego sequence lol
