News: December 2023
Added 2023-12-15 18:52:49 +0000 UTCThe big news post for the month was the one about a week ago regarding Serenity Circle. Check that one out if you haven't. Since that post was focused primarily on SC, this one will be mostly about GnB.
I'm currently leaning more towards making the previously planned DLC for GnB into a sequel instead. I've been considering a few ideas about how that would happen. Everything is too early in planning to really disclose any of those ideas as they may change. What I can say is that the potential GnB sequel will not enter into development until after the SC remake.
I don't have any plans to add further content to the current GnB. I think it is best to save all that I have in my notes for the sequel (or DLC). I haven't tagged GnB as complete, but the base game is content complete as of v0.23. Once all of the hair customization renders are complete, I'll finally tag GnB as complete.
Speaking of which, those renders are coming along slowly. Several of the images used in Helga's ending take a while to render, and they're having to now render 4 extra times per image. There will most likely be less new renders than previous releases in the next update as a result.
SC remake development is progressing nicely. I'm focusing on writing the story first. That ends up working out pretty well since I can render for GnB and write for SC at the same time. I've also begun designing the new MC. There might be a preview later this month.
There's a new bonus image poll as per usual. Not sure what the theme will be yet. Maybe something completely random. Be sure to vote.
