#47: How We Relax

This is one of those chatty ones where we hang out and just RELAX. This week we talk about what relaxing and leisure look like to us, how we could be doing it better, and how that has changed as we’ve gotten older.

I've never been much into podcasts of people just shooting the shit like this. Usually I go for improv narrative stuff (hence why I started Sitcom D&D to begin with). But man do I enjoy listening to you guys chat. It's partly because I'm at the same age as you all just about and really want to be involved in the creative stuff you guys do, but it's also how charismatic and, for lack of better word, how in love you all are with each other. It's nice to listen to a group of such close friends <3

Awwwwwwww you guys are so awesome!!! I love when you just let us in on your conversations and innermost thoughts. I just want to hug you all! You are such genuine and sweet people and the love you have for each other really shines through. XOXOXOXOXOXO

Hearing Erin say she feels she’s not ambitious makes me feel so safe, I’ve always felt that I cared more for little things than the big ideas like fame and wealth and it felt so shameful to feel like I didn’t care about those things when my like parents for example rEally do. But then when she said it in a few episodes ago I was like wow, hearing someone I admire say that so confidently made me feel safe to say it myself and like not feel shame for just wanting to live a simple happy life and caring about good food and crafts and making people laugh is my idea of success. Love y’all, great episode :’)

I enjoy doodling to relax also 😊 I would love to see some of those sketches you mentioned. It warms my heart that you all are so good to each other! These ones where you guys just talk are my favorite. Makes listening to you all in character all the more fun too! All the best from your neighbor in the OC. -David

Doodle! Draw, and relax in any way you enjoy, I’m graduating in a few weeks with my masters in art therapy! It’s healing.
