“Do you remember when I used to find you trying to crawl away and hide from Mommy? When I used to find you out in the garden looking for a way out? Mommy has done a little bit of baby proofing since then to make sure you’re extra safe and secure in this house”
“I’ve put some soft toys in there and I think that little corner is perfectly big enough for your playtime! If you’re a good girl then maybe I’ll consider giving you a little more space”
