Well, there it is. The "ship" that launched 1000 angry clicks.
We're only at strip #4 and my ignorance of DC history is already showing. I was completely unaware that A) Power Girl was merely the Earth-2 counterpart to Supergirl, and B) that Supergirl is traditionally Clark's blood-relative cousin. Virtually all of my knowledge of Superman comes from Superman: The Animated Series and various other '90s-'00s animated series, and in the DCAU, Supergirl is simply another Kryptonian, sort of. No actual relation. ANYWAY, the long and the short of it is that I didn't know Power Girl and Superman were "related" and had no intent on making them kissing cousins. However, now that I'm aware of it, I think there's some interesting--AROMANTIC--stories to be told there.
On a lighter note, to this day, that Clark face cracks me up. I remember having a hard time inking it because I kept laughing as I was working.
The Bruce punchline completely sucks, though. I'm actually kind of embarrassed by it.
Panel 3, one of the funniest things I've ever done, right into Panel 4, one of the least funny things I've ever done. Ain't it always the way?
