Their Sergal is playing around with something which glows and floats, whilst they are sitting in a place where Talyxian plants are in abundance and cause overgrowth. As to what exactly it is he is playing with, it may possibly be some sort of glowing spores from Talyxian plants, or even glowing bugs!

Because Planet Tal is a completely alien world, some things may look quite exotic to our eyes, like some of the plants or bugs which can be seen in this scenery. As with all of the plant-type organisms of Talyxian origin, they do not possess chlorophyll, they show strange and alien appearances which are predominantly reddish or gray tones instead of green-based ones.

Also, the Sergal race itself does not have many colorful and vivid hues, or artificially complex patterns in nature, however, they can adopt appearances like the type he displays through the use of fur dye!
