BONUS: Quagmire's Dad (feat. a whole bunch of trans girls)

Sorry for the late post, but check it out: Ty and a handful of her transgender cronies (@_flowerguardian, @gnostiquette, @JaneOst_, and @MyDadIsOld) talk about the defining queer rights landmark of the 2000's.

It's okay! As gross as it could be, we had a surprising amount of fun dissecting it and using it as a lens to view trans issues.

this has made stuff like the orville completely unwatchable. this motherfucker thinks he's a charismatic leading man but his actual on-screen persona is an anchor around the neck of the show. it's even worse in a million ways to die in the west

my guess is that seth said that because he wasn't very involved in the writing at this stage, and he probably heard from his writers that they were doing a trans episode but only had a vague idea of what the episode was going to be, and then when they asked him about it he acted like he knew more than he did because he wanted to portray himself as more involved and aware than he really was. i think a big part of the public persona seth wants to project is that he's like a multitalented renaissance man who's constantly working and doing way more than one person ever could, but the sad thing is he's nowhere near as good at anything as he thinks he is and probably takes more credit than he actually deserves

sorry you had to do this one
