2025-07-27 05:01:56 +0000 UTCBecause of the pre-show voting, the Voting Rounds and the currently airing episode rounds are off-set. For example, round 1 & 2 voting had already completed before Round 1 even aired. That also might have been why there were so many large jumps in the ranks this round. So Round 3 starts in episode 7, but voting for Round 4 ends on August 4th, which is a couple of days after episode 7 drops. Seeing the Tagonies remind them/tell them that this isn't the end and that the results are only what you make of it, truly feels like it's them speaking from experience given that between Jinho & Hui they've been on 7 or 8 survival shows, and 90% of that was as a participant, lol. And also something important for them to here. You asked about ranks earlier in the episode, and Junmyeong was 18. As for why they chose 14, 15, 17, and 23, I don't believe it was random at all. They chose the lowest 4 ranks excluding the My Monstaz' kids who were exempt from elimination. Since Suthaschai was rank 23, and ranks 24 to 26 were all My Monstaz. I don't remember if 19 to 21 were, but 18 (Junmyeong) and 22 (Jeonghoon) are. anyway, that elimination was devastating. :-( I'm not sure how to feel about the challenge mission, to be honest. On the one hand, I think it's a great idea and it helps get outside feedback away from, as you put it "the echo chamber", but on the other hand, the audience not clapping at first had me getting heated. Like sure, they weren't great, but at least acknowledge their efforts and give them some sort of reaction! Staring out at a sea of stony faced people has got to be terrifying. Once they started reacting though and we got to hear their actual opinions, I like it much better. Very amused though, because the moment they announced the pair mission, I went "Sechan is going to beeline for Jeonghoon" and I was correct. XD It hasn't been highlighted much, but that kid has been stuck to his side like velcro since episode 1. I'm really glad their efforts payed off for the surprise challenge and relieved that Jeonghoon has started climbing the ranks. Partially because I'm rooting for him (he's my maknae pick if we're going to include a minor in the debut line-up), but also because Sechan would have been devastated if his partner in crime got the axe.
