Thank you for sharing! I would love to see them recording this album too! Yup, 'Love Like That' is also my fav! Proud to see them involved with the writing process on this album! I also wish they were a permanent group...I just donโt understand this whole project group thing...I mean I get it; it's used as a building block for artists to possibly break out in their future endeavours...but why stop a good thing? I donโt think these groups ever have a chance to grow and meet their full potential if theyโre given an expiry date from the beginning and not meant to be together in the long run. It's limiting to their success from the get-go I feel. EVNNE should just remain EVNNE ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

I just want to gush about them haha I'm so proud and impressed with the album overall. I really got into them during Badder Love, but I did watch Boys Planet (very casually) when it was on and generally liked all the members, but they have grown so much as artists since then. 4 of the members actually have writing credits and they mentioned that they unanimously chose Hot Mess as the title track out of many candidates, so you can feel that this album is more personal to them. After watching many variety and interview content with them, I can confirm, Hot Mess feels like Evnne. Loud, chaotic, and so much fun. They totally stepped it up with the production this time around. Their previous songs were not bad nor lacking at all, but I do find that this album just sounds so much fuller with the ad-libs and harmony choices. My personal favorite track is "Love Like That" (Ji Yunseo lyrics credit, let's go!). The bridge is so gorgeous. Seungeon is actually the sole lyricist for "Youth" so you're correct in understanding that this is how the guys are feeling now or in the recent past at the very least. Him and LeeJeong are actually regular guest hosts for this weekly radio program where they recommend songs to cheer people on and Seungeon basically spent the entire 40 minutes shamelessly plugging "Youth" after Hot Mess was released. XD EVNNEING-PRESSO was a mini-drama they made for their Japan Fan Meet. They did actually end up releasing it, so you can watch it on their Youtube channel. Since I love their vocals and sounds so much, I'm eagerly hoping for the recording behind the scenes for this album, but I've been enjoying their live showcases none the less. Poor Seungeon did get sick in the middle of promotions, but the King still killed it on vocals during their encore showcase after their win (yay!) and the Band Live recording. Literally insane how good he sounds while still recovering. Anyways, thank you for always reacting and supporting Evnne! I truly wish they would become a permanent group. Their chemistry is genuinely so good which I didn't expect given how they were formed. I won't lie, didn't see the vision at first. Never doubted they would be bad but didn't think they would combo this well either. I will be so sad if they can't stay together for at least a little bit longer, but I'm enjoying the time we get to have with them for now, and I'm so excited to see what they come out with next.
