Undie Party Outliers (WIP)
Added 2025-02-10 00:01:44 +0000 UTCThis was meant to be WIP material for a scene in my upcoming TPP: Before the Storm novella, but it has all since been scrapped and repurposed. The novella itself is still happening, but I will not be drawing art and comics for every episode like I had originally planned. I was setting myself up for failure. Something needed to change.
I realized it was too big of a task for my abilities. With how long it takes me to draw, projects consisting of many pictures always seem to drag on long enough for me to lose interest in them. When this happens, I lose passion for the project... which subsequently leads to it taking much longer to complete.
Simply put, I can't take on comics and stuff anymore. At least not with my current skill set. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to get faster, but for now, standalone illustrations are the only way I'll be able to push out new content every month like I used to. The way I've been trying to do things since last July, we've only been seeing new stuff every few months. That's unacceptable. I love drawing, but the way I've been pushing myself the past half a year or so, it's turned into a job I dread rather than a hobby I love. I'm taking a step back so that I may return to form. It's the only way we'll be able to thrive here again.
All of that said, do be sure to take a look at the Undie Party Outliers main pic. I like what I managed to salvage from the WIP stuff. I repurposed it very efficiently. Took like two months to come up with all this WIP nonsense, and then once I took a step back, I turned it into the completed Undie Party Outliers scene in less than a week.
