But I know this one case with Everglow, they had their leader switch from E:U to Shiyeon, the reason why wasn’t revealed. But I think they only will demote a leader when that person is either not capable of holding the pressure upon him/herself (leader needs to take the blame and critique for most of the incidents) or if they did something that an idol can’t do so they get kicked out or a punishment. Doing something for the first time always seems weird and unnatural, unless it doesn’t and that’s what they call talent. You need to learn to be comfortable doing something new before you actually get good at it. I’m sure you also have recorded a lot of videos in the past of witch you thought either your voice sounded weird or your posture wasn’t the right way. But now after you’ve done this for several years, you are comfortable with it (and you also wouldn’t care nor focus on it a lot nowadays). There probably wasn’t that much time between each round, because the public expects the group to debut as fast as possible, JYP can make more money off of debuting them faster and it seems like Minho and Felix didn’t change that much. The only case that i’m aware of being pushed way back is JYP’s LOUD team (but that is because of trainees leaving and such things).
