Your undead partner would never use his powers to take advantage of you. There is, however, one exception; one you’ve agreed with yourself as it turned out to be soothing to your nerves.

You felt it bubbling up in your chest – an upcoming panic attack, gripping your lungs in a tight hold, causing your fingers to numb at their tips. The vampire Lord quickly took notice of your pale, distracted face.

“Would you like to lay down,” he asked, already prepared to help you manage your impending struggle.

“I wish I could just shut my brain off instead,” you whined, rubbing your temples and murmuring curse words under your breath. “Then I wouldn’t have to deal with this.”

 He carefully pondered his options until a particular idea struck him. Why, turning off your brain was a service he could indeed provide you with.
