Tik Tik SFW: Flowers of the Lily Nymph 1

With rope crafted from strong vine, the gnoll and the kobold are both bound, their hands drawn behind them and their snouts wrapped shut. But they are allowed to see the path they take, and hear the nighttime sounds. What good would that do for someone not well-versed in the ways of the forest?

Tik Tik sighs, but keeps an eye on each of their captors as they enter a cave, Valana lights the interior with a flick of her wrist, bathing the cave in a soft glow. Her long green hair goes down to her back, and despite the mud and brush that dots it, she makes it look like natural jewelry more than the tangle of dirt that her companions wear.

The captives stumble into the cave, sitting down in the bright light, forced to adjust as their captors sit around and chat amongst themselves about setting up shifts. The loudest of the bunch is the little gnome, who keeps the book in her lap as she sits upon the ground. Her large eyes are filled with wonder as she scours through each page, and Tik Tik might even be friendly with the purple-haired creature, if she didn’t flip through the papers with such wanton disregard to its age or importance.

The humans, or at least Tik Tik thinks they are humans, sit back, holding each other's hands as they glance outside towards the forested night

Kera yawns, stretching out on the ground, laying on her back, her legs and arms sprawled out in complete comfort. She paws at the air, seemingly at nothing. What purpose there is to this ritual, Tik Tik cannot be sure.

Adaeze eyes each of them as well, her eyes shining with different understanding than the kobold. Annoyed, Tik Tik grumbles, shifting around in her seat. If only she knew more about these upworlder races, she’d be able to know just what is wrong with this lot.

“I’m not so sure these two aren’t planning something,” Gimmegee says, looking over Tik Tik’s book.

“What do you mean?” Slusk hisses.

“I can’t read what’s in this book of hers.”

Slusk sighs and picks herself up, sauntering over toward her ‘sister.’ She holds out a scaly hand and the gnome lifts it up to her. Cradling the book, the lizard woman glances over the page, coughing and then closing it. “What is this?” She asks, turning around toward the captives, a snarl in her voice.

Gimmegee hops up and patters over towards Tik Tik, tearing the restraint off of her mouth. The kobold shifts her jaw back and forth a moment and takes a deep breath. “It’s Tik Tik’s journal.” If they didn’t read draconic, then she would be in the clear. The lizard doesn’t look like she is related to the wyrms, so its possible that she doesn’t know their tongue

The lizard glances at Tik Tik, and then she glances over at Adaeze. “Well, okay. Just stay there and rest, and you, get up” she taps Kera on the side with her toe.

The feline rolls around on her belly and she looks towards the new captives. “Oooh, so who do you think the mistress will let us play with, first?” she asks, kicking her feet, her tail swishing back and forth.

“That doesn’t matter,” The lizard woman says, hands on her hips. “Because it’ll be some time before she’s done with both of them. You remember how long our newest sisters took” she nods over towards Luza and Liza.

Kera whines as she sits up, leaning back and supporting herself with her hands, crossing one leg over the other.

Adaeze whimpers, shifting herself closer toward her boss.

“You’re inpatient,” The gnome says. “Does the Lily Nymph have to work on you again?”

“Excuse?” Tik Tik pipes up. “Is okay if Tik Tik talk? We… want to see boss lady, yes? At least.”

The lizard hisses, her tail whipping back and forth as she walks away.

Valana sighs from her annoyance and says. “Get ready to go to sleep.”

“Alright, alright!” the feline grumbles, curling up and closing her eyes.

“As for you,” the elf says to the two. She taps the head of her spear against Adaze’s cheek, and a breeze rustles her fur, sliding the gag off from her mouth “You may talk, but we are listening to you, don’t forget.” She steps away, heading off towards the entrance of the cave.

“I don’t like this,” Adaeze whispers. “They aren’t playing. This is an actual druid’s circle. It’s real nature magic.”

“Ah,” the kobold says back. “So, powerful, yes?”

“I’d say so. We’re out-magicked here, no offense. But I don’t think we’re at a loss for brain power. It’s gonna take quick wits to finish the job, I can tell you that much.” Besides, there’s something about these girls that seems different than normal druids, too.”

Tik Tik nods.

“Do you suppose this nymph is granting them extra druidic magic? That sounds like a pretty powerful creature, if you ask me.”

Tik Tik shakes her head. “Book would tell, but Tik Tik can’t read fairy speak. No way of knowing.”

“Well, guess field observation is the next best thing, right?” Adaeze leans in closer to Tik Tik and whispers into the kobold’s ear. “I’ll keep my eyes on ‘em. You go to sleep We’ll need your magic to get us out of any trouble these weirdos will get us in.”

Tik Tik scoots in a bit more and whispers. “Let’s watch longer… but pretend to sleep. Get some news, learn some secrets.”

Adaeze scans over their captors. Each of them are off in their own world, and she nods her head. “Yeah, got it…” With that, she leans back, closing her eyes and sighing in her false relaxed state.

Kera’s eyes flutter open and lock place with Tik Tik’s. The kobold freezes, caught staring at her as a sly smile rolls up over her lips. She picks herself up, crawling on all fours over towards the captives, that predator’s glare glimmers on her eyes as she crawls closer and closer, right up to the kobold’s feet. “You know…” she begins, “I can still hear you two.”
