The engine

My lewd projects are gaining momentum, so it's time to move to the next level of development and pull the game engine into a separate entity. It is necessary for scaling, so next upcoming projects will use it as a prebuilt framework.

Characters rig 3.0

Yeah, the third generation is here. The previous rig was good, but, again, the main goal is to make everything modular and scalable, so it wasn't meet the requirements. Now it is symmetric, a bit rotated and has a floating elbow feature which will smoother arms animations a lot. Also, it has some other advanced tech like realtime changeable body shapes, face direction, and a brand new physics engine. Btw the character's art style was changed from 3d shading to more 2d hentai-like shading. It is simpler to reskin and a lot of digital artists are used to it.

You'll be able to change Haru's body properties in the wardrobe with the upcoming Playground update.

Sex scenes will be also updated so they will support chosen body shapes. Also, scenes will support chosen clothing accessories.

Physics 2.0

I'm moving from my custom physics solution to a full-fledged physic engine. It's much more stable than the previous one and it supports everything that we'll need for our playground mechanics. Nevertheless even this engine is a bit jiggle and will make it a pain to adjust ragdoll or collide game mechanics, but I believe it will be an industry-changing feature in the new update and my upcoming project

Quests

Next month will be dedicated to an open world and questing system. It will primarily be used in another project: furry high-school dating sim by the Cillian Girl, which she plans to launch in early August. Next Haru updates will be in short story format as before. After some time I'll figure out how to implement it in our Haru story. Besides new mechanics, I'm excited to make a convenient tool to edit the story and the open world right inside the game and save it on the server, so it will be much easier and faster to create and test new in-game scripts

Upcoming projects

I'm happy to announce that I'm collaborating with Cillian Girl, one of the authors of Haru's Secret Life, to make another game on our engine. This is a unique title with its own story and characters. This project lies entirely with Сillian, I am only responsible for the technical part of it. It will be a similar animated lewd web game, but with an open world, quests, and a guy as the main protagonist! More details on Cillian's Patreon. Also, there's coming another project that will squeeze all the juice out of our engine! It will be the first part of my great plan of developing pоrnstudio-themed games. 2d animated рorn grindcore wrapped in physics game mechanics. In the next 2 weeks, I'll announce more info about it
