(General P.O.V.)
“Excuse me, are you aware that trespassing on private property can get you killed?”
Angel’s voice cut through the tense atmosphere as he approached the group of intruders alone, his steps steady and unhurried.
Black Adam and Child exchanged a look. The latter, perched atop her crystal golem familiar, giggled, her laughter dripping with contempt.
“How quaint, Klarion. You chose a comedian for your candidate?”
Her mocking tone aimed at the Witchboy, who was nervously huddling behind Goku. Klarion’s fear momentarily flickered into anger.
“Hey, take that back! Angel is stronger than your candidate could ever dream of being!” he shouted, his defiance surprising even himself.
Child merely giggled again, her eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Oh Adam…”
At the mention of his name, Black Adam descended, landing with a heavy thud in front of Angel. The two locked eyes, sizing each other up. Black Adam’s apathy met Angel’s cold, calculated gaze, both gauging the other’s strength.
“I sense power in you, boy."
Black Adam’s deep voice rumbled with a noticeable accent.
“But how well can you use it? A weapon is only as good as its wielder. As a king, I would know. I hold the power of the gods afterall.”
Angel remained unfazed, his confidence radiating like a deadly promise.
“If you don’t leave now, I’ll be happy to show you. In ashes. Death cares not for kings or peasants."
Frost, standing behind Angel, watched the exchange with narrowed eyes, cold air wafting from her body.
“This isn’t going to end peacefully, is it?”
“Nope.”
Goku said, shaking his head.
“The boss can handle a fight. It might even do him some good- let him blow off some steam. You and Shiva should evacuate the staff to the underground bunker. Klarion and I will stay and back him up.”
Lady Shiva’s eyes flashed with defiance.
“I’d rather stay and fight.”
Goku met her gaze, unfazed.
“And you’d lose, Shiva. This is about raw power, not skill.”
A smidgen of Goku’s aura flared out, the pressure making Shiva blink in understanding. She nodded grudgingly.
“Very well. Don’t lose.”
As she turned to leave, Frost shot Goku a sly look.
“That was hot.”
“I thought you liked it cold?”
Goku raised an eyebrow, teasing her.
“I do.”
Frost replied with a smirk,
“But every girl wants her heart melted.”
With a shake of his head, Goku turned to Klarion, his expression hardening.
“You’re coming with me. Angel still wants your head, and I’ll be damned if it’s not present when he decides to take it.”

Angel heard Goku land smoothly behind him, but his gaze never wavered from Black Adam. He knew what he was dealing with—a powerhouse on par with Superman.
[BPL: 100,000]
Black Adam was indeed strong, but Angel had an edge. His Red Angel form made him stronger. Still, his real concern wasn’t Black Adam. It was her—Child, the Chaos Lord.
Through the Halo lens in his eyes, her base power level read:
[BPL: ???]
It was too high to display, an ominous indicator of the chasm between their strengths. It was no wonder Klarion was terrified of her.
“Leave? Don’t make me laugh.”
Child scoffed. Her voice carried an icy finality that led her to issue a command,
“Adam, don’t keep me waiting. Kill them all.”
Goku tensed beside Angel, but the latter remained calm.
“Don’t order me around. Soon we shall be equals.”
Black Adam snapped at Child before launching himself into the air, his body crackling with lightning.
“I’ll end this in a heartbeat, boy, and gain even more power! Your death will be the first step on my path to dominance!”
Dark clouds churned above him, and with a deafening roar, a massive pillar of blue lightning crashed down at Angel’s position, scorching the earth.
As the dust settled, a dome of white flames stood at the center of the impact zone. The flames receded into Blaze’s icy-blue blade, revealing Angel, Goku, and Klarion unscathed.
“If that’s all you’ve got, you’re hopelessly outmatched, Black Adam.”
Angel stated, his sword’s tip aimed at the hovering champion of the Gods, now of a Chaos Lord.
“Ruler of flames.”
Black Adam’s body suddenly convulsed as his own lightning turned against him, coiling around his limbs like ropes, searing his costume and skin.
“W-what is this!?”
He bellowed in shock.
“Lightning, even divine, is just an active form of fire. And I control every fire in my vicinity,” Angel explained, white flames dancing along Blaze’s edge.
The air around the blade ignited into a rainbow-colored plasma, with an inky darkness at its core. The gas molecules in the vicinity began to collapse into pure energy, yet neither Goku nor Klarion felt the heat.
“To be fair, this was the only expected result. A battle to the death.”
Angel said, sending a slash of energy toward Black Adam.
Space twisted as the arc of energy sliced through the air, too bright to look at directly. Then, it vanished, swallowed by a wide black-red portal similar to those Klarion could create.
“You’re dangerous.”
Child observed, jumping off her golem and straightening her skirt.
“If I hadn’t intervened, I would have lost my pawn and been kicked out of the game early.”
Black Adam tumbled out of another portal, his body covered in burns, patches of his costume missing. His face contorted in pain, anger, and humiliation.
“Kandahq’s ruler is no one’s pawn."
He snarled through gritted teeth.
Child giggled, patting his bald head condescendingly.
“Adorable. You still confuse arrogance for power, even after witnessing real strength. What a pitiful king.”
Goku felt a pang of jealousy as Child’s words seemed to praise Angel while mocking Black Adam. He had been training harder than anyone, yet he could never seem to match his friend.
“Klarion, how about we trade pawns? You can have mine. He’s more than impressive—for a mortal.”
Child offered, slamming her foot down on Black Adam’s head.
“D-Damn you."
Adam groaned, helpless as his powers seemed to drain from him.
Dark glee flickered in the culprit- Child’s eyes at his struggle.
“Well? What do you say?”
“No.”
Klarion flatly refused.
Child’s focus shifted to Angel.
“Don’t you think he deserves a worthier Patron? I’m stronger than you, Number 7.”
Klarion looked at Angel nervously, silently praying he wouldn’t accept the offer.
“Not interested.”
Angel replied, his voice laced with disdain. “Even if you offered me the whole fucking world, I’d still tell you to shove it up your ass, you sick little bitch.”
The Witchboy stared at him in disbelief, then let out a shocked laugh.
On the other hand, Child’s amused smirk vanished, replaced by a dangerous glint in her eyes.
“I see.”
she said coldly, stepping off Black Adam. “Then death it is. If I can't have your toy, I'll break it.”
Her eyes glowed scarlet as chaos magic surged through her body, enveloping her in a red aura several times greater than Klarion's. She began to float above her golem familiar and the battered Black Adam, who struggled to rise, only to have a shadow fall over him.
He looked up just in time to see the golem’s sharp, spike-like hand pierce through his chest. Red chains manifested around them, binding the two together.
“That’s sick…”
Goku muttered, horrified as Black Adam’s body began to merge with the crystal, transforming into a monstrous creature. Its exterior was now a red, crystalline armor, with blocky limbs and sharp spikes for fingers. A network of blue energy pulsed across its surface.
“She’s corrupted the divine energy with chaos energy, completely merging her familiar with her candidate. Even for a Chaos Lord, this is abominable. Black Adam’s soul is lost, forever."
Klarion said grimly.
[PL: 500,000]
Angel scanned the upgraded familiar’s power level through the Halo lens.
'Five times stronger than base Superman.'
He calculated.
“Goku, can you handle the familiar?”
Angel asked.
Goku cracked his knuckles, determination gleaming in his eyes.
“Leave it to me, boss. I’ll shatter that thing to bits. It’s just glass.”
“Good.”
Angel smiled, satisfied. It would be a challenge for Goku, as his power level was much lower than the Upgraded Familiar, but Angel had faith in his friend’s resolve. Goku would find a way to win.
“What about me?”
Klarion asked nervously.
Angel considered for a moment,
“Can the two of us take her down if we went all out?”
Klarion hesitated, then shook his head.
“No. You’re strong, but she’s on another level. You’d need a hundred of you to even come close.”
'In other words, she outpaces me in both energy quality and quantity,' Angel thought grimly, not accounting her physical parameters due to what she was.
'I’ll need to cheat, or else she’ll destroy us all.'
“Then I’ll face her alone.”
Angel declared.
Klarion was stunned, his expression questioning Angel’s sanity,
"How? Didn’t you hear a word I said?!"
“How long can you hold her attention?”
Angel asked instead, his tone serious,
“Think really hard about your answer, Klarion. You got me into this mess, so the longer you keep her occupied, the better your chances of survival. Right now, they’re at 0.1%"
Klarion shivered under the weight of Angel's intense gaze. Fear of Child still gnawed at him, but a flicker of determination ignited within. He wanted to prove himself, to regain the trust he had lost.
"I can buy you one minute."
He replied, his voice laced with tension.
"I’ll teleport her across dimensions before she catches up and kills Teekl and me. That’s all the time I can give you."
Angel's stern expression softened just slightly, enough to convey a sense of approval.
"That’s more than enough."
Before Klarion could breathe a sigh of relief, Child materialized before them, her eyes narrowing with suspicion.
"What are you busy little bees buzzing about?"
Klarion's lips curled into a mischievous smile, masking his fear.
"Oh, just telling him how I ate your secret stash of candy without you ever noticing. Toodles."
Without waiting for a reaction, Klarion dropped into a portal, vanishing in an instant.
"KLARION!!!"
Child shrieked, her fury palpable as she plunged into her own portal, hot on his heels.
Angel wasted no time.
"Goku, don’t let the mansion get destroyed."
Goku nodded as Angel's form blazed with energy, his Red Angel transformation activating.
In the blink of an eye, he rocketed into the sky, the sheer force of his departure leaving a blinding shockwave in his wake.
He pierced through the atmosphere, ascending into the cold expanse of space. Klarion’s efforts would only buy him a minute, but even at his fastest speed, Angel knew that reaching his destination would take eight.
"Deploy Boom Tube ordinance."
Angel commanded the Halo interface, his voice calm despite the urgency.
In response, a series of yellow portals opened in his path, collapsing the journey to the sun from eight minutes to mere seconds.
Angel emerged from the final portal just a few hundred miles from the sun's surface. The intense heat, 6,000 degrees Celsius, washed over him, but the Red Angel form withstood it without flinching.
Without hesitation, he plunged into the star, pushing himself deeper and deeper until he reached the core—a blazing inferno of 15 million degrees Celsius.
The temperature was unbearable, even for Red Angel. His body began to cook, the heat searing him to his core.
"A-activate Regenerative Module at f-full capacity."
He ordered through gritted teeth, struggling against the unimaginable pain.
"I-initiate Forced Adaptation and Evolution of the Kryptonian- S-Saiyan cells."
The Halo lens responded instantly, draining all the stored Will energy as the regenerative process began.
But Angel knew he needed more—more power, more speed. He pushed himself harder, accelerating the process through the Speed Force aura. He only had seconds now. But with the accelerated process, those seconds turned into MONTHS!
It was madness. No one else could have survived this for even a second, let alone endure it willingly for what would be months. Angel was risking complete cellular degeneration, teetering on the edge of oblivion. Yet, he didn’t stop.
A dark thrill surged through him—perhaps the Saiyan part of him relishing the challenge. But Angel was more than just Saiyan. He was Kryptonian too, and to fully harness the Solar Infusion he sought, he needed to go further.
With a deep breath, Angel deactivated his Red Angel form, allowing the full, unfiltered force of the sun’s energy to flood his body. The intensity was overwhelming, a raw, unstoppable tide of power.
Angel's mouth opened in a silent scream, the agony beyond the reach of sound. His flesh, his bones, his very essence was being reshaped by the sun’s fiery embrace.
But through the pain, he could feel it—his power rising, his cells absorbing the energy, transforming, becoming something more. He was no longer just a man. He was becoming a living sun.
The question in his mind was if he would survive long enough for the process to complete.

Hey guys, noticed that the longer I have to work on chapters the better they come out. Huh.
Still, sorry for the late update.

Bro! That was a Summer Slam level chapter! If you add Selina Kyle and Harley Quinn the next story arc, you are going to Wrestlemania! 😆
