Smallville Season 10 Episode 8

Comments

I was just thinking, it's going to be really bittersweet when you get to the season finale! I'm excited for you to see it but it's going to be sad that the Smallville journey is over.

I keep hearing that it was planned from the start so... if that's the case than it's not lazy. I don't know for SURE that it's true but I have more than one source relaying that information.

Ohh and just wanted to add to yet another development in the CLOIS relationship. The way CLOIS handles everything pertaining to their relationship and their parent issues that they both were holding in the inside. They both had some anxiety and as Lois said a void in their heart preventing them to take the next step in their already maturing and beautiful relationship. It was a necessary step for Clark to not feel so resentful towards Jor-El and for Lois to understand her mother as well. They both finally got to understand their parents and the struggles they had to face back then. It wasn’t easy for them to let their children go, but they had no choice at that time. Which may seem like a harsh thing to do, but they just didn’t want to burden them with their flaws or weaknesses. Ugh that tugged at my heartstrings too especially Jor-el and Lara, Clark trying to reach out to them and touch/hold them made me so sad. Both times his birth parents came to earth he couldn’t hold them as much as he could of..he wanted to spend more time with them especially that clone of Jor-El. I was still so upset last season, when Jor-El was dying in Clark’s arms. But enough with the sadness of the past, CLARK is ready to take that next step and with a ring too. Yep Dev, our boy wants to propose to Lois.

Great reaction...making Tess a Luther still annoys me til this day cause it's lazy and ruin her already great character that was established. I can't really go into it but I will have something to say about this episode when you post the finale. :D

You can go on youtube and find deleted scenes from that episode, where the cops and others were there getting the girls and so on.

Common sense says Clark went back to save that little girl right? ...Right??

Yeah Tess and Lex were business partners and he basically was grooming her to take over LuthorCorp or possibly have her be his right hand woman. As someone else said, it is understandable how you would be confused by Tess and Lex’s relationship. There were a few questionable moments that might cause that confusion. But there’s also moments where Tess just said they were business partners and that he was a mentor to her. Obviously, they got close enough for him to trust handing over LuthorCorp to her. But I have a feeling that Lex already knew that Tess was his half-sister. There is no way that he had no clue especially with knowing Lionel’s secrets and relationships with other women. So he took Tess under his wings and perfect timing when she had a fall out with Oliver. Remember Lex and and Oliver does not like each other and Oliver and Tess were in a relationship. Oliver even said he felt betrayed and hurt when he found out that Tess went to work for Lex. Most importantly, having that mentor and protege kind of relationship. You never know what Lex has planned in that twisted head of his even before he died. He already had Tess taking over LuthorCorp in situations like death. So for Tess to seem so maternal to Alexander and wanting to prevent him from turning into Evil Lex also proves the “maternal/sibling/affectionate” side of Tess. Even when she herself didn’t know at that time that she is actually Lex’s half-sister. It’s weird and we need more answers about Tess’ past. Lionel is such a playboy though! Just how many relationships and possible children does he have? Poor Tess...her memories was cleared when she was young, but luckily thanks to the Lionel and Pamela they found a family for her. She got out of that scary orphanage, but now she has to deal with finding out that her whole life was basically a lie..and that she is a LUTHOR. CRAZY right? Only the Luthors.😆

Yeah Lex and Tess never was in a romantic relationship. He was her mentor and worked for Lex, which is why he left LuthorCorp to her cuz he practically trained her to take over. He probably already knew that Tess was his half-sister with all the secrets that Lionel hid from him. Which is probably why he took Tess under his wing and basically used her too.

Darkseid!! He's a total badass and my favourite match up for Superman. Thanos from Avengers is like the Marvel version of Darkseid. Except Darkseid makes Thanos look like Captain Crunch. Also the woman with the claws was married to Green Arrow in real life at the time!

Lois' mom was played by Teri Hatcher, who played Lois Lane on The New Adventures of Lois & Clark with Dean Cain. Her being cast as Lois' mom was a huge deal. Was hoping for more of a reaction/discussion to the huge revelation that Tess is Lex's sister, and Lionel's daughter. They planned that all along. They kept having to dye her hair red as a clue. It's why I laughed every time you said "Who does she think she is? She's not a Luthor." And no, she and Lex never had a romantic relationship.

Can't wait to watch thanks brotha!!

This further supports my claim from yesterday about Clois touching on all the parental relations that Clana never did, even with the dead ones. Also, Teri Hatcher... perfect choice. That's all I have to say about that. Now as to the Tess parentage reveal. Her mother is Pamela Jenkins, Lex's nanny who had cancer back in season 1, who Lex was mad at. Yep, Lionel was f*cking the nurse and the nanny. It's funny... Pamela went on and on about how she had nothing left to lose, how she wasn't scared of Lionel anymore, and that she wasn't gonna lie to Lex anymore and yet even on her deathbed she still lied to him about the real reason Lionel made her leave. The same reason he made the nurse leave, they were both pregnant with his illegitimate children. Yeah I know the real reason is because Tess wasnt even a thought yet but in the context of the show it doesn't make sense. Sidenote: Darkseid is a playable Injustice 2 character but you have to pay for him tho.
