Smallville Season 9 Episode 3

I'm not sure if you really understood the symbolism when he took Lana out of his wallet and put it in the scrapbook and then stopped Lois from friendly punching him. That moment was when he was finally ready to move on and i am so glad that they waited and they showed this because it shows that he was ready and it's not a rebound and he is ready to explore his strong feelings he has for Lois and move forward in their relationship

Yeah super excited for the next episode. Think you’re gonna love it. Honestly the first half of this season doesn’t really miss from what i can think of. Whole season is great too

Clark just takes in Ollie and Chloe’s harsh backhanded comments. I’m also kind of happy that he stands his ground against them and even does the same to them as well. He’s been through enough in earlier seasons and knows that he can’t save everyone. But he’s learning and trying to balance his life at this moment. As SV shows each character especially Ollie, Clark, and Chloe have their own ways in trying to fix things or deal with things differently. Would I like Chloe and Oliver to say sorry to Clark for the way they handled things and harsh comments they said to him? Yes. But Clark is such a nice guy..he’ll let it pass and forgive them even when they were in the wrong as well. 😆

I really dislike the fact that so far Clark has apologized to Chloe and Oliver, telling them that he should have been there for her or should have listened to him. Clark made some bad choices, but Chloe and Oliver did much worse (Ok, Oliver is hurting, so he gets a pass till he gets his shit together) and they haven't apologized. Other than that, good episode and great reaction.

I love the addition of Emil, he definitely brings a whole new dynamic to WATCHTOWER and the team. The CLOIS scenes/moments in Season 9 are all GOLDEN..they give you so many different feelings from light, hilarious, heart warming, heart fluttering, and even moments where it’s sad. I’ve always loved the heart to heart moments of Clois tbh.

Ahh that CLOIS hug in the rain scene was such a gorgeous shot and moment. The way Clois stared at each other and when Clark brushed Lois’ hair off her face and said, “WE MADE IT.” The way Lois felt so safe in Clark’s arms and her smile, it was ROMANTIC AF even though they’re not even a couple. LOL! I love that the show the differences in the scenes of Ollie and Clark with the picture of their exes in their wallets. Maybe you guys don’t pay much attention to it, but I do! Ollie keeping Lois’ photo in his wallet shows that he’s still holding on to her or what they had in the past. Especially with him knowing that Lois and Clark have growing feelings for one another, which is not a good combination when he’s in an emo/lost himself situation. As opposed to Clark, who is slowly moving forward with his life. He’s cleaning out his wallet and sees a pic of Lana, he smiles at it remember the good times instead and puts her picture away in a scrapbook. He’s emotionally okay and is leaving his past in the past. He’s accepting the present and possibly opening up his heart to love again. CUE IN Lois barging into the house and CLOIS having another lovely moment together. I just love subtle scenes like that..although I do feel sad for Oliver. As for Chloe, YES.. she’s doing her usual solo things and she has her reasons in keeping it a secret. I kind of understand her, but not telling Clark about it and basically playing BIG BROTHER to the rest of them without them knowing about it.. is a bit much and an invasion of their privacy. But she wants the team back together and she has to go to some extremes to do it. But yes... I’m excited for Delvin cuz honestly Season 9 is so great! The storylines, the pacing of the episodes, and the character development is just 💯!

That was a good episode. Who knows, may be I will be saying that to every episode. Those CLOIS moments are real good. I love ❤️❤️😙 Erica man , she does what she does and it captivates me. Her talking to Clark about not want to be alone and Oliver talking to her on the elevator really breaks my heart💔💔 I don't know why but I like the conversation between Chloe and Emil on the plane(that scene stuck with me).Good reaction man 👌 👌 be safe and finally KNEEL BEFORE ZOD

I think all that you mention is what makes this a good episode. I dont really pay attention to the zombie stuff and even that I found fun.

I guess I'm in the minority on this but this is actually the ONLY episode this season that I wasn't looking forward to. Not necessarily because it's bad (as said before, I'm someone who doesn't believe in "bad" SV episodes and that even the worst ones have some sort of significance) it's just... dumb. I mean really Smallville? Zombies? After two enticing episodes full of juicy set up, this is what you came up with? There are some elements I enjoyed like the Clois moments, seeing what's going on w/ Oliver even though he's going off the deep end, Clark superspeeding Emil for the first time, and of course the ending with Zod mistaking the Blur for Jor-El. So not a complete waste of time, the whole zombie aspect was just always very off putting to me. I know a lot of people really like zombies, I'm just one of those people who finds them cliched and boring. I've never seen a zombie movie I enjoyed, the closest one was "I Am Legend" and it was because of everything outside of the zombies. They're just not for me.

Really? You NEVER enjoyed Clana not even in seasons 1-3 before Lois was ever introduced? I mean that's fine, but I just thought you mentioned that seasons 5 and 6 were when you started to hate them.

Also one of my fav. So exciting to see your reaction. The clana in this episode is the only clana I ever really enjoyed.... maybe ‘cause there’s no Lana in it lol! Anyway, can’t wait to see it later.
