Smallville Season 8 Episode 20

U are not the only one man, even after seeing it so many times I still get pissed at Chloe for not thinking clearly. Clark got a good plan (not a perfect plan) to send Davis to PZ. It might work or might not work but it's a plan then comes Chloe saying that it is not fair to Davis and Clark should understand hell no . She thinks the transformation can be controlled and then Davis can b good and reasoned with , he might b a good person in the start bet he lies, kills , manipulates and covers for his alter-ego actions. Overall for me in this episode Cloe is STUPID, Clark is NAIVE, Jimmy is DUSH, Davis is SELFISH & OBSESSEVE and Oliver is a GOOD FRIEND. Good reaction man 👌👌 looking forward to the remaining episodes and my favourite season 😊😊

OH AND DELVIN, THE GUY IN THE CAR WITH CHLOE IS THE DR. EMIL HAMILTON. HE WORKS WITH OLIVER/WATCHTOWER THAT’S WHY CHLOE KNOWS HIM. HE’S A REALLY COOL CHARACTER THAT ADDS TO THE DYNAMICS IN WATCHTOWER. 👍 oh I don’t know why I typed in all caps.. I got really excited cuz you’re close to season 9...and yeah season 9 is 🔥🔥

Ohh you’re not the only who was upset watching this episode. I was really mad too and I still get riled up watching this cuz you’re right! They had him! They had Davis and could have sent him to PZ, granted there’s still a possibility for him to return from PZ. But still THEY HAD HIM. I was really upset at Chloe because she wanted to do solve this herself with this whole CURE BS. Like many of us said.. there is NO CURE.. the many times ppl tried to kill him, he just gets stronger..he gets more powerful. There’s no way around it, he’s destined to be a BEAST and that BEAST’s mission is to destroy Clark. What does hiding him, taking care of him, and protecting him do for everybody? Yeah he doesn’t turn into DOOMSDAY when he’s around Chloe, but can he really suppress the beast inside of him forever? He was created to be A MONSTER.. he was created to kill Clark. Do I feel bad for Davis? In some ways YES.. Davis is a sincere guy in the beginning...now he’s just being selfish and obsessed now. Chloe is being absolutely confusing too.. does he or doesn’t she have feelings for Davis? That dude just ruined your wedding with the person who you claimed is “the love of your life”.. you allowed Davis to make your ex-husband to look like an absolute crazy person in order to protect Davis? And for what? To protect Clark?? Clark and even Oliver has the right idea...granted their ways of going about it is different. They knew Davis can’t be saved...DOOMSDAY is too strong. Chloe still thinks Davis can be saved and is supposedly protecting Clark from Davis by running away with him.. BUT HOW DOES THAT HELP ANYONE? That’s only temporary... what happens if Davis cracks or catches on that Chloe is only with him to protect Clark.. what happens if Davis just snaps?? How can chloe handle him them? Her plans are still FLAWED as Oliver said.... well you have 2 more episodes and we’ll see your reaction on Sunday. GOOD LUCK!! 😂

Some stuff from the episode: -How Clark got away with the hospital stuff? Most likely Emil Hamilton, the doctor Oliver pays to be on the call for any of the team. Doesn't explain how he got away without being checked on the ambulence though. -Oliver was being a great friend to Jimmy. Paying for rehab? That's a ton of money, sadly, it's a chance many people don't take (I work in a drug addiction center) -Chloe LIED A LOT this episode. Davis doesn't have "an alien infection", which she tells Emil, Davis is a kryptonian creature that is mutating into his real self. He's the ultimate destroyer, he doesn't have a disease, Davis a shell that is concious, but he's a facade that the true doomsday is trying to get rid of. -How dare Chloe says "the stakes are too high for someone that can't think clearly"? SHE ISN'T THINKING CLEARLY! Davis doesn't have a disease, he can't be cured, he can't be "fixed". It is what it is. Is it sad? Yeah, kind of, but it's still a horrible mistake to lie about Davis being alive to Clark. Clark is Doomsday objective, telling Clark not to worry puts him in even more danger. -How in the world running away with Davis is a good plan? How does that solve anything? -Honestly, Davis is sick. He RUINED JIMMY'S LIFE. I felt bad for the dude previous to that episode, but he took advantage of Jimmy's state to make him look crazy. Screw that. -Davis says that nothing, except being next to Chloe works. But in the next scene he's okay with waiting in the basement while Chloe leaves to prepare their escape from Smallville. How does that work? I thought you couldn't be without her Davis. Like Oliver and Emil said "He's obsessed with her". Also, I don't appreciate Chloe telling Emil "you betray me, you betray Davis and you for sure don't want to be on his bad side" WHAT THE HELL GIRL!!! -I don't think Chloe is sane when telling Clark about NOT sending Doomsday to the Phantom Zone. It is the BEST plan. And they shouldn't feel too bad about Davis, the guy has killed more than 50 people, ruined Jimmy's life and hasn't felt bad about it, and is a time bomb waiting to explode. Sending him to the PZ is the best move. -Why does everyone want Clark to kill Doomsday? It has been shown time after time that Davis always comes back, so how is Clark punching him to death any different? Why would that stick? -Like Oliver said, Chloe's plan was flawed. If Davis can't be left alone, how does she planned to live her life with him? Going grocery shopping together like a normal couple? Why not tell everyone she kept Davis in check while everyone planned how to dealt with it long-term? And I ask again WHAT IS WRONG WITH SENDING HIM TO THE PHANTOM ZONE?!! -Davis has NO SYMPATHY from me. If he really is so worried about the rest of the world, he wouldn't be "I don't care if this place trapped me once before...", he would be happy to be trapped, to be away from people! But somewhere along the way he changed, now it's not about protecting others, is about getting what he wants, and that's Chloe.

Chloe screwed it up big time here. I wouldn’t want the human side of Davis in the PZ but it would be the best solution right now. I like Davis but there’s not really a effective way to get rid of him. This is so frustrating no one is totally right, everything is fuck up. Can wait for s9.

He is a murderer though I actually agree with Devlin here he gets no sympathy from me, especially what he does in the finale. But I agree this episode was frustrating and not a fun watch.

To be honest, I was pissed at EVERYONE in this episode. Chloe was running nonstop down a dangerous path with no end. Jimmy was being a douchebag. Clark couldn't comprehend that Chloe could actually care about Davis' human side who actually wants to be a normal person and Oliver can't seem to understand that Doomsday is unkillable. It's not just Clark's code anymore, there is like nothing in existence that can kill him permanently. Even when Superman killed Doomsday in the comics he still came back. They all had a least ONE "good" reason for acting the way that they were but none of them had a good way of going about it. I never thought there was really a right way to handle this. Even the best idea they've had so far (the Phantom Zone) is still not fair to Davis. It's like sending someone with DID to prison for a crime one of their alters committed that they weren't aware of or in control over. I'm convinced that if he didn't have Doomsday attached to him, he could've had a normal life. It's just messed up all around. Looking forward to Sunday!
