2020-03-28 14:35:22 +0000 UTCWow I just watched this reaction and you were in shock, I think this is the first time you didn’t say the “somebody help me” !! Since I already know what were going to happen obviously I noticed other things here, like Clark didn’t even react to the sirens, I mean that’s implied a calling for help and he just didn’t care, he didn’t even react when Lois said is was about Lionel or when Chloe told him to go, his obsession with Lana is too much. That boy has a lot growing up to do. Great reaction.

2020-03-19 02:27:41 +0000 UTCsnapped is the perfect word. this show does such a great job representing lex's mental state. Michael Rosenbaum is an A1 actor for that Lex Luthor portrayal

2020-03-18 01:23:28 +0000 UTCYeah Lex definitely didn’t kill Lionel just because he wouldn’t tell him who the traveler. the whole series has been leading up to that moment lowkey. like LGR said, Lex finally snapped
2020-03-17 18:30:01 +0000 UTCHe killed him like Chloe said with total absence of love. He says it in the dialogue. It was huge huge shock before the credits. He blames Lionel for everything including feeling sacrificed for the traveller "My life changed that day"

2020-03-17 12:10:35 +0000 UTCThat isn't why Lex killed him.
2020-03-17 11:16:38 +0000 UTCThe Death of Lionel Luther was done poorly...they kill him before the intro instead of at the end of the episode which would have more impact. The reason also makes no sense, so Lex killed Lionel cause he wouldn't tell him who the Traveler is? An answer he is about to find out on his own anyway...they killed of the best actor in the show back then....Great reaction...:D

2020-03-17 10:09:27 +0000 UTCI love those lines "I was raised in your shadow now your gonna die in mine. No one will even remember your name" Chilling! This is a stella episode & the writing in this one is top tier. Those four scenes: The Lead up to Lionel's Death, Clarks confrontation in the mansion , Chloes hard truth in the barn & the graveyard funeral scene 😍 There's no going back for Lex now 💔 Michael has always said Lex was born out of the lies perpetuated by Clark & it's so true. Wasn't his journey such compelling story telling as well as Lionel's. A lot still to come & that finale gets ever closer..

2020-03-17 08:47:03 +0000 UTCThis episode is the absolute last straw for Lex. You're right. He's totally gone from who he was in episode 1. Lionel Luthor is definitely like top 3 characters in this show. Big loss for sure, but it definitely is a moment that influences Lex forever.
2020-03-17 06:04:31 +0000 UTCoh please do two eps next

2020-03-17 05:05:15 +0000 UTCI cant believe he is gone like that, this man was an amazing character but yeah there were a few holes in this suicide
2020-03-17 04:59:21 +0000 UTCNo joke it was just so abrupt, took awhile for it to sink in... it's really sad
2020-03-17 04:58:19 +0000 UTCWere you able to get it working?
2020-03-17 04:57:47 +0000 UTCThere's a red-flag I picked up on that I'm surprised didn't throw the police or anyone off. If Lionel was going to kill himself, then why was the window broken? I mean when has that ever happened? Most suicidal jumpers would open the window first. Even if he wanted to just bust through it, could he even muster enough force for it to work (I mean he's strong-willed and all but he's still old)?

2020-03-17 04:50:35 +0000 UTCThe chapter doesn’t work. I think no one thought lex would kill Lionel, it was shocking and very sad and lex’s ultimate step to darkness. So bad how both of them ended up.
