Smallville Season 6 Episode 17 Reaction

This version of Titan is an unknown alien from the Phantom Zone, but I think he's based on a character from there comics. Titan was a New God from the planet Apokolips and part of Darkseid's elite. He was Darkseid's highest field commander in the first Apokolips war, where he lead his army into an ambush from which he was the sole survivor. Because of that he was disgraced and spent half a century in Darkseid's dungeons, blaming his soldiers for cowardice and betrayal, until the day he got a second chance to prove himself to him. He was sent to attack a Strategic Air Command base and capture or kill a General but Orion arrived to battle him and save the General. Orion managed to defeat him but he escaped thanks to the Omega effect. Back in Apokolips, Darkseid reveals that he had it all planned and after tricking Orion into leaving General Maxwell Torch unprotected, he sends Titan to abduct the General and this time he succeeds. He also carries a club, which he calls rune rod and carries a charge of Darkseid's own Omega effect.

One of my favorite fights in the series its so much fun to watch Clark kick ass against a guy that is bigger then him! How rare is that? The fight was awesome! Love to rewatch this one

You need to be a wrestling fan to enjoy this one....and I do.

Most of the Phantom Zone escapees weren't phantoms. Gloria (female plant alien), Aldar (bone eater in Seattle), and Titan were all in their original, corporeal, alien bodies. Only the worst criminals have their physical bodies taken from them before they get sent into the Zone, like Baern (radiation absorber) and Hudson (mental hospital). The number of escapees will never match the number of lights they showed escaping in the Season 6 premiere, because they didn't know how many they were going to do. They ended up doing more than they showed.

It is a fun episode in my opinion.

I'd say this is the most forgettable episode of the season. The only thing I took away from it (the first time) was that Lana lost the baby. Titan was forgettable, nothing else noteworthy or drastic happened. This is an episode I tend to just skip whenever I rewatch the show.
