Blooming

Many of you sent me messages for my birthday
 and I thank you all for this very kind attention <3

The reason I haven't replied yet is because I decided to put my phone away for a few days.

To take the time to be fully present with those around me, to take more time to appreciate the little things that make life so magical, to take the time to observe each moment and to seize the opportunity to be surprised by this wonderful journey.

I didn't want to miss out on certain things at the risk of regretting it later.

It reminded me of what is important in this life, what we sometimes miss because our minds are too connected to the virtual world.

I had the fun that I had not been able to have before, out of professional conscience.

But I also found something I've been looking for forever... serenity. And that is priceless.

I am always preoccupied with things and people, and because of my hypersensitivity, this sometimes poisoned my health.

Some time ago, I experienced terrible stress because of a message that prompted me to call the border police and the missing persons center.

No one had heard from a member of my family in over ten days.
She was neither in her country nor in mine.
I was in tears until I heard from her.

A few days after this event I had the chance to see her after returning from her trip while she was transiting through Paris to return to her island.

She told me she had gone to sea and had no signal or internet. 
She just wanted to take some time away for herself to bury her past life.

When I saw her, she was blooming again, radiating happiness all around her.
I was inspired.
It was my mother.

Nothing can replace a mother.
I was really afraid of losing her, especially because I don't see her or my family very often.
I never really take the time to enjoy the people I love because I'm always worried about my professional future.

I'm not yet finished with this transition period of enjoying the real world, but I promise I'll take the time to answer all of you.
