Firstly the patch is great! I've been using it for a while with no issues, but recently it seems to have uninstalled itself so that when I run the game all the added clothes and options from the patch disappear. I can reinstall the patch and run the game and everything comes back, but if I close out of the game and reopen it everything is missing again. It's like it gets uninstalled whenever I log out of the game. Any suggestions to fix? Thanks!

I won't add kplug to HF Patch. kplug is known to cause many issues with the game, and most importantly it's a commercial plugin that I'm not allowed to include. If you want to use kplug I suggest backing up your game and following its instruction manual very carefully.

The current version of uncensor selector doesn't support showing PPs in roaming mode. You should bug its author to show that there is demand for this feature, either ping Anon11 on the discord server or post an issue here https://github.com/DeathWeasel1337/KK_Plugins/issues

Thanks for a wonderful and such helpful patch! But I'm having little problem. I made a few trap characters by adding PPs to female characters. But their PPs aren't showing in the main story mode! It's funny that its working fine on free sex mode but the PPs just vaporizes at the story mode...How can I fix this?

Get the latest version of the patch, many of these issues should be fixed in it. If you still get the clothes issues then try disabling async clothes loading in plugin settings, and if that doesn't help then try turning on high poly mode in plugin settings.

Hey, this patch is really amazing and for the most part works great with few bugs, so thank you so much. Just a couple of things I figured I'd ask so I know what's normal and what I might fix. The girls don't display the full size of most bones modified in creator with extended ranges or added scale sliders when they're running around the school map, though they look how they're supposed to in conversations and scenes. Sometimes clothing pieces added with mods don't appear outside of conversations either and are replaced with items nearby from the relevent clothing menu. Obviously these aren't major issues because these parts show up where it's most important but seeing everyone run around the school the way I made them would be nice if that's possible. This is normal and you need to have the bin files next to the exe or the patch will download the contents of the bin files again.

Hi ManlyMarco! Some problems here, I have the steam version Koikatsu party and downloaded the full version of the HF patch. Now I have successfully installed HF patch for AI Shoujo before so I thought this time it won't be any different. It was. It seems like the exe file of the patch won't load the two bin files at all. Even when I moved the exe file to another folder alone it works without the other files, unlike with AI shoujo, where it will ask you to insert disks when missing bins. I guess it probably isn't normal, since the installation size is only around 150 mb, meaning that the two bin files are totally disregarded. I tried downloading the patch again, nothing changes, though the KKmanager seems to be working just fine after this bin-less installation (I'm downloading mod updates through it now) Any ideas why and how to fix it?

I'll release an update to hf patch today so you can try if that one works, I'll change some compression settings.

Hello marco! Ive been trying to run the patch for a long time now, but for some reason it still doesnt work. I have installed koikatsu, got the hf pack, been following the directions carefully. I have already reinstalled both the game and the pack (multiple times) and even upgraded my computer very recently and have much more ram than before (i now have 16GB) And still, even with all programs ended, whenever i try to run the HF Patch it immediately pops up a "out of memory" error. When i asked in the server, they told me to look at any changes in the resource monitor and none appeared, it just immediately popped up the error with no change, and told me to ask you yourself. How can I fix this error, id love to try more than just the base game of koikatsu!

Hi ManlyMarco. Im trying to install the HF patch. However my install keeps getting stuck on a file called (Earthship).Rose.zipmod and can't progress beyond it. I have tried downloading the HF patch installer multiple times, but it's the same result each time. Any ideas what might cause this?

Maybe you didn't install the custom launcher, it's not installed if you turn off English translation. In that case run KKManager and update from there.

Try saving a fresh card in maker with the uncensor selected and open it in free h. If it doesn't work then you can try installing HF Patch again with default settings, or post your output_log.txt in #help on the discord server and ping me.

If you never installed HF Patch before you should have gotten the full version since it doesn't have to download anything extra. If you cancelled the download you might be missing the uncensor, and are most likely missing a lot of the content mods that are needed if you'll want to use any character cards or scenes found online. You should at least install the uncensor and fix packs from the launcher/update, and if you run into any issues with loading characters then you should download the other packs as well.

I just downloaded KKP off of steam and saw the HF patch completes the game. If I download the web version (since I have no torrenting program), it installs everything, but brings up a side window to download about 15gb of mods from Mega, which then asks for a login. I clicked cancel and it continued to download. I cancelled that and finished the regular installation. My question is on whether I need to install those 15gb of mods and if so, will it matter if I don’t log into mega as I don’t have an account with them? I am new to this modding thing, so please excuse my ignorance in this matter.

Having some major issues after installing 3.0.2. At character creation, the girls do not load in at all, not even the default girl. When I click on a card, it makes the sound as it normally does but nothing loads. Second: Attempted to do Free H mode, the game gets stuck in the loading screen with the loading bar only at 25%. Three: Characters don't even load in Studio mode. Before I installed the latest version, the game was running fine because I tested it out beforehand so i know it's the HF patch causing this.

Could be anything, try restarting your PC and running a drive error check.

The web version automatically installs latest updates with kk manager. The full version installs kk manager but doesn't update, you can trigger an update by opening the launcher and clicking the update button.

There is no way to do it with uncensors included in HF Patch. kplug includes a somewhat animated uncensor but it's incompatible with many things and only recommended if you are experienced with modding this game.

Do not extract anything into your abdata directory, that's the easiest way to break your game. The mod should come in a .zipmod file that you copy inside your mods folder. Default uncensor in maker is no uncensor, it will work outside of maker and if you specify which uncensor to use in maker. If it doesn't work outside of maker then check your output_logt.txt file for errors, if there are any and you don't know how to fix them then sent the log to the #help channel on discord server or here.

Hey marco umm I got some problem so apparently my female genitalia texture was gone it is uncensored but somehow the texture is just gone there was no hole or anything just plain skin which is kinda unimmersive lol, the male genitalia got no problem only the female one.. did u have any idea why is this happen ? or am I missing something like mod etc ? thanks

It looks like something broke with the mega's API and it hangs indefinitely when trying to access the website. If you have this issue you will have to get the full version of the patch or wait until the issue is fixed (not sure when).

I don't give any support or warranties for fbz repacks, but you can install the full patch over them. You should get full 3.0.2 from the magnet link in the post and let it remove all old mods (and config) to avoid future issues. The 3.0 is old and no longer seeded.

Hey Marco, I had a question. I tried to install this update of the patch after buying the game on steam, and it went to install fine. However, I assume my laptop still somehow when into sleep mode with the screen still open and it messed with the process. Now, whenever I try to re-install the HF Patch, I'm getting error messages during the process and cannot re-install. The first error occurs on the "Preparing to Install" part of the process, giving me this: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Koikatsu Party\[UTILITY] KKManager\StandaloneUpdater.exe ... An error occured while trying to rename a file in the destination directory: MoveFile fails, code 183. Cannot create a file when that file already exists." It gives the option to Try Again, Skip this file (not recommended), and Cancel Installation. If I choose to Try Again, it waits for a moment and the error returns. If I choose to skip the file given it says it already exists, I run into the second error: "Runtime error (at 27:692): External exception E0434352." Pressing ok is the only option, and doing so brings me to the final part of the installation without having actually installed anything, giving me the options to Run Koikatsu, Open the wiki, Join the Discord, or open your Patreon. I'm not sure what really has gone wrong at this point...

HF Patch works with any version of the game. If you didn't install a previous HF Patch before then you should get the full version.

Sounds like you might be running out of RAM, open task manager and keep an eye on memory usage around the time it crashes. You might need to reduce number of characters or turn off high poly mode and close other applications.

I played with the 3.0.2 yesterday. After completing "lunch time" with some talking to the girls and checking there outfit, hair and accessories (it all looked fine to me) I changed to "club time". The first thing to do was to go to to the gym and start a "character event" with the special character "Sakura Yuuki". After clicking the "yellow star" the screen went white and the game stopped. The only thing I could do afterwards was to take screenshots ... I'll post a link to the output_log. Could you please check?

I don't no why, but when I'm playing at the game, in the overworld, somes outfits or hairstyles don't appear. The ones that are mods, I guess. Anyway, when I'm in the chara editor or in scenes, this ones appear without problem. There is a way to fix this? I don't know why, but in previous versions those outfits and hairstyles gave me no problem!

If anyone is having issues installing v3.0.1 then please try the .exe from the new v3.0.2 version. If you downloaded the .bin files you don't have to redownload them, you only need to place the new .exe in the same directory as the old .bin files, no need to rename them either. Sorry for the inconvenience!

It's items for studio, try the new Web version of HF Patch 3.0.1, it should be faster. If you don't use studio you can uncheck the studio sideloader modpack to skip installing these.

You can cancel the download and restart it later after patch finishes by going to your game directory and running KK Manager > Search for updates. Alternatively you can get the Web version of HF Patch 3.0.1 that just released, it should be much faster.

Been trying to install the 3.0 patch. I get to updating mods and it goes well until I get to a mod called "[titan36]ARMA v1.2.zipmod" which is 639 MB. This mod takes like 3 hours to download and then didn't even complete at the end. the mod literally gets to 100% and then restarts. Retrying to do it now and at same spot with same mod for the next several hours. My question is, what is this huge mod? The only thing I know Arma from is the military games.

I've updated from 2.8 to 3.0 and noticed many poses are missing from the character creator now. Most of them were just bad, plus annoying to scroll through to find anything...Buuut I liked the walking animations for testing models' settings, and some of the dances were fun. Do you mean that you purchased a higher limit mega.nz account? Like I said in previous post, this will not help at the moment because KK Manager does not support logging in to your mega.nz account. Do you have the \BepInEx\IPA\KK_MoveMapFromCharaList.dll file? If not, do you have KK or KK Party, did you select english or japanese when hf patch first started, and did you change any settings when installing? This plugin is one of the options that should be enabled by default. If the file exists, send me your output_log.txt from the game folder after you open the menu where "go to" button should appear. You can use pastebin and link to it in a comment here if you're not on the discord server.

Hi,, I got the same problem. This happens whenever I update the sideloader mod. I think but not sure that this affects cards with lots of accesories, more than 20. I also have, after an update to re-edit these cards, save and everything back to normal (until the next update^^).

The patch will never touch your existing saves, characters and other thing in userdata other than game settings. Not sure if any more pubic hair was added, but there is some of it.

Hey Marco. I just installed this HF Patch but now some characters started glitching. For examples hair started spiking or clothes are missing. In character maker they seem to be fine. I usually use the "edit char" tab to reload the characters. But this time its too many. Any solutions?

Thank you! You are amazing for doing all of this. I had 2 questions if you see this. Does adding a new mod patch risk deleting current saved characters? Also, does this mod have any more pubic hair additions? Was really hoping to add a full playboy-esque bush to my characters in the future. Thanks again!

No, you can always install the latest HF Patch without any preparations.

This is mostly a stress test of how well this new method works, and it looks like it's not good enough. I'll look for a solution for hf patch 3.1 or 3.0.1

Doing this would require either a rewrite of the patch to some extent, or having the patch install like a normal application so it would create registry entries for what was installed and where, but because of that the game directory could not moved without breaking the installer. Also it would be very easy to break the game completely by uninstalling the hf patch through the created uninstaller. Those are the reasons why I didn't add this feature yet, but I'll look into adding this in future releases. Thank you for the suggestion!

It will download the large files during installation. This is just the executable.

Your installer seems to not check what is already installed. And it doesn't remember the settings you made during installation. You have to go through all options when you want to reinstall or remove something. Could you please check and redefine the process so the installer works like a true updater, only changing/updating what neeeds to be done. Thanks a lot for your great work on this!

But ... the new installation process with internet downloads is incredible slow. Installing for an hour now and it has downloaded 600MB out of 6,5 GB. The old process with complete MEGA-Download was much faster. Needed just an one and a half hour to download and install the HF 2.10 Patch.

Hey i currently have Koikatsu Party HF Patch v2.9 installed on my Steam. I want to install this patch. Should i make any modifications on my current v2.9 patch before i install this one?
