I wish Lana would have died instead of Jonathan. Even though I like Lana, she just can't compare to Jonathan. The only reason that I can't accept the first timeline is because Lex was responsible for her death. I feel like he would blame himself forever and I wouldn't want that to be the reason for him going bad.

I'd watch a YouTube Q&A as long as it's not too late. I was anticipating this episode, I just knew it was gonna break you. Literally your reaction to every big event, the proposal, the scenes with Lana and Lex, Lana's death, Clark taking back the proposal, Jonathan's death, I predicted. Still in my top 5 favorite reactions you've done to this show. I know you're dreading moving forward without Jonathan but I'll be here when you're ready.

When I first watched this episode it nearly broke me, the consequence of Clark being human for a week. What comes after this I believe makes Clark a better perosn and the show starts heading in a different/better direction. But one can't help but miss Jonathan...:D

Oh Devlin. My apologies brother. We knew in Superman Mythos that Clark's Dad dies of a heart attack but of course Smallville had it's own take on the mythos & we could have had Jonathan for many more seasons. Thank you for being so dedicated to the show I love and we all felt the pain of Jonathan's passing. I've said to you before the relationship between Clark and Jonathan was so special and played so convincingly between Tom and Jonathan throughout. Good to take a break Clark is in full grieving mode next episode but you wouldn't expect anything less. There is debate among Superman, and Smallville fans, as which actor played the best Lex, who played the best Lois, etc.. But everyone is on the same page with Jonathan Kent. It will never be played as beautifully as on this show. No apology needed man, got my box of tissues ready. Nothing but love brother, enjoy your new years!!
